14oz - Undyed Frankenstein Denim - True Guy

We don't know about you guys, but we've been obsessed with he Frankenstein fabric for years. People will say "bUt It'S NoT sElVeDgE!" - which isn't true. These are made on the same looms, but they simply can't add a selvedge ticker due to the multiple styles of weave running throughout the garment. You can spot these in the close-ups when you see what essentially looks like fabric blocks of different twills. In the fadable indigo versions of the past, this made for some pretty wacky, blocky fading. With these, you'll just get a ton of extra texture which is always a welcome addition to a natural pair of jeans. On this variation, you're looking at left-hand-twill for two inches and then right-hand-twill for two inches repeated throughout the pattern. Because this fabric can't go through the normal anti-skewing process that keeps away the leg twist, you'll see this denim twist inward on the RHT and outward on the LHT. It makes for a really cool effect! We think this is one of the best pairs launching for Spring so we're glad it's the first one on the table!

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 waist in these. He decided, based on. the measurements to stick with the same size he wears in the Weird Guy. The major difference with these is the leg opening and room through the leg. They lose virtually all of the taper you gain from the Weird Guy. If you want a true straight fit, these are the ones. We still recommend sizing up once from whatever you normally wear. The most important part on straight jeans is always going to be the waist. Tommy is 5'10", 162lbs with a 33-34" waist.
