We've seen a million 5-pocket pants, and while those will never go out of style...it's so nice to have new silhouettes. That's what drew us to these painter pants. They're the gorgeous 17oz "Zero" selvedge we're becoming more acquainted with, but in a pant that we don't see quite as often. These have all the potential of the other jeans we've received from Samurai, but with a lot more utility. There are extra pockets, red bar tacks, and just the right amount of leg twist. We also love the roomier fit in the leg. It's just how it should be. This heavy-duty 17oz painter's pant is going to serve some of you guys really well!

A variance of +/-.5 is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Luckily, these pants are very forgiving in the fit because the denim is pretty tough. Ryan is wearing the size 31 here. They're admittedly a little too big in the waist on him, but we didn't have the next size down. These have lots of room in the thigh and leg opening as a wide straight. Really, the big thing you need to get correct here is the waist. The rest will fall into place. Ryan typically wears a 30 in Japanese brands and a 29 in American brands. Shop owner Tommy wears a size 32" in these only to keep the leg from looking too big on him. He is our standard fit model at 5'10,' 165lbs with a 32-33" waist. His typical Japanese size is 32.
