D1879S - 15oz "Natural Indigo x Kakishibu" Aishibuzome Dyed Selvedge - Regular Straight Fit

Just when we think we've seen the perfect pant, Studio D'artisan comes in and flips everything upside down. They've taken two incredible concepts and mashed them together. The Aizome, or naturally dyed denim, is that gorgeous blueberry you see on top combined with the brown persimmon base on the backside known as Kakishibu. It's a marriage we didn't know we needed, but fell instantly in love with. The blue seems to just float on top of the twill like a natural indigo cloud. And, the brown acts a dirty base for the fading to bounce off of. We believe they've done a kakishibu pigment dye, as evidenced by the color on the selvedge ticker. This makes the indigo look much darker up front, but we fully expect that blueberry color of natural indigo to start popping in short order. These are packed full of all the details and Japanese construction you're used to!

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are known for fitting small. This pair is no different in the waist, and even with a roomier overall fit, we still recommend sizing up at least once. This fit is a medium/high rise (depending on how much you size up) with a roomy top block and a full leg. It's everything we want from a relaxed cut. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 34 in these. That is a little roomier in the waist for him, and he could probably have gone down to the 33 for the photoshoot (keep in mind, this is still going to be sizing up once for most guys). Tommy is 5'10," 163lbs with a 33-34" waist.
