Shangri-La Heritage - "Café Racer" Leather Jacket - Black.

Early on, we were the only brand carrying leathers from Shangri-La in America. Since then, they've been very good at growing their brand slowly in America and we're now one of a very few with a selection in their leather goods. These guys trust us to represent the brand in America and we appreciate them thoroughly for that. This season, we've gone hard and as far as giving specifications on the grade of leather we want. We are excited to really represent the brand this year, and this first round is just the start.

The Café is, and probably always be their best-selling jacket for us. The jacket was inspired by late 70s racing jackets but with Shangri-La's unique Italian touch. The piece is made with vegetable-tanned, drum-dyed, top-grain Lambskin from Tuscany (Italy). It also features an "Espresso Coffee" color viscose lining. You'll also notice metallic zippers made of antique brass with custom engraved markings. These bad boys are designed for bikers but can be worn by anyone looking for an heirloom jacket to wear during the cool months.

Shangri-La - "Chiodo" Horsehide Leather Jacket - Black.

The green liner on this blew us away. They've really stepped up their game with this latest series and we're excited as hell to have it.

Inspired by 1950s Motorcycle jackets and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Chiodo” Whisky Horsehide Leather Jacket represents an authentic garment made of Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead, one of the oldest tanneries in the UK (since 1890s in Leeds, United Kingdom). The Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead is made by selected European Full Grain horse hides tanned with Steads’ traditional garment tannage and finished with a blend of “classic pull-up” waxes. This produces a pure aniline leather with a Unique Rich character. Charles F. Stead is a traditional family business established in 1895, which remained faithful to the artisanal skills, techniques, and know-how that others have forgotten, taking the time to work the leathers in the traditional way. These skills continue to live on in harmony with modern production technologies. Quality leather can never be a commoditized product, with each hide having its own characteristics, and they treat it accordingly.

These guys trust us to represent the brand in America and we appreciate them thoroughly for that. This season, we've gone hard and as far as giving specifications on the grade of leather we want. This one specifically was one we called out. We needed the most crackly, light-colored leather with the best pullup. And they delivered.

Shoes Like Pottery - Low Sneaker - Gray. Shoes Like Pottery, made in the same factory as Moonstar, is done slow and steady - like the process of hand throwing, glazing, and firing pottery. The kiln they use to vulcanize the rubber is very similar in nature to the one used in the process of ceramics. The foxing surrounding the shoe even reminds us of some patterns we’ve seen in our favorite potters' clay-work. These were intentional. The name means what it says. A slow process of stitching, wrapping, molding, and firing gives these shoes a foundation you’ll be able to stand on for a long time. The beauty in the aesthetics of the shoes means more in that way, at least to us. Voting with your dollars is the perfect intersection of sensory pleasure and storytelling. The two waves flow through the universe in parallel only crossing paths on rare occasions. We specialize in curating those occasions, and so does Shoes Like Pottery. The Mustard is a nice Spring/Summer touch that truly adds a kick of sunshine to your wardrobe.

Momotaro - 05-297 - Selvedge Stripe Shirt - Indigo.

This might be the easiest-to-wear shirt in the lineup. That doesn't take anything away from the design. This asymmetric pocket style with a rounded button placket is one for the ages. You add a selvedge vertical stripe to that and you have something truly special. It has triple-needle runoffs and you can see the selvedge ticker in the side gussets. It's a beauty of a shirt that's nice and soft/light for these warm summer months ahead. Made in Japan.

Momotaro - 05-306 - GTB Combination Shirt - Beige/Black.

Wowwww. We were pretty ecstatic about this when we saw it in the catalogs. Sometimes, you can't go visit the product in person. This year was definitely one of those cases, and we keep being pleasantly surprised. With this, we were blown away. The tightly knit cotton is structured yet soft. The peach snaps in antique copper are the perfect detail. You don't often see color/fabric blocked shirts like this in the heritage market. We just can't say enough. We love the GTB (Going to Battle) stripes as the perfect accent to this phenomenal shirt. Made in Japan.

Momotaro - 05-308 - Turpan Military Shirt - Olive Drab.

We were both so impressed by this shirt in person. The Turpan cotton is an extra-long staple fiber. You can tell there's something different about it when you put hands on it. It feels a lot like a lightweight jungle cloth to us - a staple cord in our closets. The stripes don't always work, but they work really well on this BDU-style shirt. The olive drab really just lends to those dual white stripes. This piece is so versatile. We see it being one of those pieces that go quickly and you find yourself wishing you had ordered while it was around!

Momotaro - 06-099 - Leopard Jacquard Shirt - Indigo.

This is the first leopard shirt we've ever seen that falls so heavily into our wheelhouse. An indigo version of this in short-sleeve might be the only way to ever go. This may be the end all be all of leopard shirts. You can probably just stop with this one and be happy! It's soft to the touch and fits with plenty of room. The jacqurd cotton pulls plenty of white from the weft to make the shirt really pop. The base of indigo matched with the scattered pattern makes this one of our favorite Momo shirts ever made. It's just visually appealing. Made in Japan.

Momotaro - 06-101 - Linen Waffle Shirt - Beige. We've seen just about everything heavy, starchy, and Indigo from Momotaro. And truth be told, we are excited for even more. But, this round we're even more excited to see something soft to the touch. We've seen a lot of cotton waffles over the years, but never linen. It just drapes differently. The waffles create more of a wave than a grid. This piece will get you your Momo fix without sweating straight through it during these summer months. Made in Japan.

Freenote - 11oz Modern Western - Bleached Denim. The Modern Western silhouette probably speaks to us more than any other from Freenote Cloth. For obvious reasons, we are very fond of western wear. But mostly, we find ourselves wanting something that checks that contemporary box as well. This my friends is that shirt. I can't think of any other shirt from Freenote I've worn more often. The stonewashed version of it is magnificent and this newer bleached-out version does not fall short. It has turquoise snaps, contrast stitching, and patina in all the right places. And, we might just have some of the last stock of it on the market.

I can't think of any other shirt from Freenote I've worn more often. The stonewashed version is phenomenal. The roping is fantastic. The selvedge ticker gussets are beautiful. The swooping yokes are less sharp than a typical western. It's soft and easy wearing from the get and only gets easier. This is a shirt we think every die-hard customer of ours should own. It's scary good how easy it is to wear with everything.
