9oz University Plaid Field Shirt - Green

The Field Shirt sees the return of RGT's heavier-weight flannel series. This time we've got this gorgeous University Plaid that instantly spoke to us as an impeccable layering piece. The colors are spot-on for this dual-pocket silhouette. The University Plaid or Tartan is a specific pattern used heavily in collegiate settings. It is distinguished by a series of thin lines intersecting the thicker, more traditional flannel lines. The Field Shirt is Karl's take on the iconic military silhouette. Its larger rounded urea buttons mimic those used on fatigues. Sometimes, all of the elements that make up a garment come together to form something that speaks to you on a deeper level than "just any other flannel," and this is one of those pieces for us.

A variance of +/-.5" is to be expected. 

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy has sized up once to a large in these. We found them to be pretty comparable to previous iterations, but he really appreciated the extra room. If you choose to just wear it over a tee shirt, you could get away with your true size. But if you want a true shirt jacket fit you should go up once. Shop owner Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
