Portuguese Flannel - Saint Patrick Field Flannel - Snow.

If you're looking for silky, smooth softness, you need to look no further than the brand whose namesake says it all. Made in Portugal, these flannels do special things for those who love buttery fabrics. The unique patterns and contrasting colors are made in the kingdom of flannel. Portugal has been known to us as one of the top places to manufacture goods in the Eastern Hemisphere for years. Their construction is impeccable and their ability to vertically integrate (i.e. do everything themselves) shows in their prices. In terms of "bang for your buck", they do it best. AW21's selection is a little taste of nostalgia for us, and luckily enough we got our stock earlier than anyone else! Snatch yours up before the real Fall begins. This one reminds us of fresh snow in the Irish countryside.

Warehouse & Co. has been on the list for some time now. Ever since Zach came back from Europe sporting his reproduction tees and jeans made in Japan, we were hooked. Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4601 - Slubby Cotton T-Shirt - Eggplant.

You guys continue to blow us away with your acceptance of this brand. The initial and then repeat business for Warehouse and especially these 4601 Tees has been amazing. I think the quality speaks for itself on these shadowy tees! Once you have one, you know what we're talking about. The only problem is, they're pretty limited so it's can take us quite some time to get them back in stock. We snagged some new colors and a few more sizes, but the words out now. People have been asking about them for weeks again. Honestly, they've been asking for more since the last round sold out.
Lot 4089 - Border 3x2 Inch Stripe - Blue, Off White.

Warehouse & Co has been so good to us over the last year. You guys seem to love it as much as we do, and we couldn't be happier about it. Your support allows us to dive back into the border tee that did so well last year. You're seeing a new version this year where the color is a 3" stripe and the natural is 2" stripe. The texture on these is much different than the 4601 you're used to. It's still made on a sinker machine, but it's a much more even, homogenous knit that lays flatter and feels smoother.

Freenote - Modern Western - Red Plaid.

We've seen quite a few modern westerns in our time, but my goodness did they do this one right. The fabric selection is absolutely bonkers...then you add on those black, roped snaps and you have a true legend. This thing might just be the best flannel Freenote has ever created. The smooth surface of the the 10oz plaid twill makes a great transitional piece as we smoothly move into Fall. We say this all the time, but if this one sticks around for long we're going to be shocked. We foresee it being one the late adopters hunt down for years to come...to no avail because no one will want to cough it up on one of the second-hand sites.

Horse & Anchor - Cowhide Rug Messenger - Brown/White Deadstock.

When you build a special relationship with a maker, sometimes they surprise you with something they built and it's an instant "hell yes." After a few times working together, Lawrence has started to develop a pretty good sense of what gets us going. This brown and white cowhide was a random leather that he was lucky enough to get his hands on. It's a long hair masterpiece with all the details you know and love. The cowhide rugs have become increasingly harder for him to find and even create, so this may just be the last round we ever get. Don't sleep on this puppy. This is probably the only time we'll ever have it in a messenger.

We thought deeming this the "Cowhide Rug Messenger" was appropriate as you usually don't see this material anywhere other than on a hardwood floor. The raw nature of this custom-built bag instantly drew us in. We would admit that it's not the first one we wanted because of our affinity for Japanese culture and the vintage militaria looks of the other duffles, but it very quickly became the standout of the collection. The contrast of brown and white with the brown leather base is out of this world. He also lines the bags with selvedge denim. It blows us away every time we look at the hand-hammered rivets and overall attention to detail paid to each and every bag.

Horse and Anchor is a one-man job. He does all of this by hand and no two bags are ever exactly alike. He's using vintage materials (yay sustainability) and artisan handcrafting methods to make these bags. I think the vintage canvas and perfectly aged leather speak to everyone's affinity for the past. The designs and details are just beyond the pale of comparison. When we saw them stacked up at the Inspiration Trade show in LA, it was game over.

Horse & Anchor - Selvedge Work Tote - Rainbow Edition.

So when we first started this partnership with Horse & Anchor, we had no idea how well it would be received. We're now on our 4th release and nearly everything has made its way to a new home. When the last round came in with a special edition rainbow liner, we thought, "How can we not? It would be one for the ages."

Lawrence has had this deadstock roll for some time....using it here and there for accents. A liner here, a pocket there - potentially a hat every once in a while. So this run I think might just be the last of that roll. But, this time it's on full display. This selvedge is one of the most, nay, the most unique selvedge we've ever seen. The light blue warp mixed with a multicolor weft creates a rainbow effect, unlike the ones we've seen from even the wildest brands. The selvedge ticker is bonkers as well. You slap on all the details you guys hopefully know by now from H&A and you have a bag that is more unique than anything we've ever (yes ever) carried in the store.

Naked & Famous x Upstate Stock - Upcycled Denim Watch Cap - Stone.

Our initial reaction to this was, how many can we order. The recycled selvedge pants had just come in and we had already begun our love affair with that. So, this was a no-brainer. Made in America, upcycled denim blended with organic cotton had us at hello. The shape is also really great on these. They're a bit stiff upfront because of the recycled denim, but they stretch very quickly and fit more like a skull cap or classic watch cap than a beanie. They're quite perfect. We've never seen colors like this, and it's probably due to the uniqueness of the material. The yarns are spun in the USA and the caps are knitted and finished in Brooklyn by Upstate Stock.

Misc Goods Co - Incense Cones - Underhill.

Sometimes there is a scent that just sticks with you. It grabs your attention and doesn't let go. It also never grows old. For us, that is Underhill. It's wonderfully aromatic and has an almost undescribably sweetness. It honestly gets us every time, and we were extremely excited to get a whiff in incense form. It did not disappoint. Trust us. This is the incense you want and need.

Inspired by the smells of traveling in nature. A mix of 14 ingredients, the fragrance is deep and complex with aromas of wild herbs such as Rosemary and Athelas, along with leather, pipe tobacco, several wood species, open-air, and a sweet scent of freshly poured (or spilled) ale.

Misc Goods Co - Playing Cards - Sunrise.

The MGCO Black Playing Cards are a completely redesigned deck of playing cards. The illustrations on the cards have been redone; from the tuck case to every symbol, court card and even the typography. We were very pleased to see this new Sunrise option. Yellow was a killer addition.
Shangri-La - "Chiodo" Horsehide Leather Jacket - Black.

Early on, we were the only brand carrying leathers from Shangri-La in America. Since then, they've been very good at growing their brand slowly in America and we're now one of a very few with a selection in their leather goods. These guys trust us to represent the brand in America and we appreciate them thoroughly for that. This season, we've gone hard and as far as giving specifications on the grade of leather we want. The green liner on this blew us away. They've really stepped up their game with this latest series and we're excited as hell to have it.

Inspired by 1950s Motorcycle jackets and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Chiodo” Whisky Horsehide Leather Jacket represents an authentic garment made of Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead, one of the oldest tanneries in the UK (since 1890s in Leeds, United Kingdom). The Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead is made by selected European Full Grain horse hides tanned with Steads’ traditional garment tannage and finished with a blend of “classic pull-up” waxes. This produces a pure aniline leather with a Unique Rich character. Charles F. Stead is a traditional family business established in 1895, which remained faithful to the artisanal skills, techniques, and know-how that others have forgotten, taking the time to work the leathers in the traditional way. These skills continue to live on in harmony with modern production technologies. Quality leather can never be a commoditized product, with each hide having its own characteristics, and they treat it accordingly.

These guys trust us to represent the brand in America and we appreciate them thoroughly for that. This season, we've gone hard and as far as giving specifications on the grade of leather we want. This one specifically was one we called out. We needed the most crackly, light-colored leather with the best pullup. And they delivered.

Shangri-La Heritage - "Café Racer" Leather Jacket - Nubuck.

Since then, they've been very good at growing their brand slowly in America and we're now one of a very few with a selection in their leather goods. These guys trust us to represent the brand in America and we appreciate them thoroughly for that. This season, we've gone hard and as far as giving specifications on the grade of leather we want. We are excited to really represent the brand this year, and this first round is just the start.

The Café is, and probably always be their best-selling jacket for us. The jacket was inspired by late 70s racing jackets but with Shangri-La's unique Italian touch. The piece is made with a nubuck steerhide from VicenzaTuscany (Italy). It also features an "Espresso Coffee" color viscose lining. You'll also notice metallic zippers made of antique brass with custom engraved markings. These bad boys are designed for bikers but can be worn by anyone looking for an heirloom jacket to wear during the cool months.
Freenote - Limited Edition Utility Shirt - Charcoal.

The utility shirt is hands down a staple item. It is surely cemented as a heritage legend at this point, and it's great to see it in this monochrome charcoal color. The first thing we noticed about the utility is just how buttery was. It's what sank the hooks in for us all these years. It's essentially the softest Japanese sateen we've ever felt. You top it off with the tonal single needle stitch and the belt-style corozo buttons, and you've got yourself a masterpiece to wear from here until the end of time.
Naked & Famous - Pocket Tee - Heavyweight Flannel Stripe - Grey.

We love these pocket tees as much as you guys. That's why we grab new ones every cycle. This version is definitely unique. If you're feeling a heavy flannel, but aren't quite ready to break them out yet...this might just do the trick for you. A little taste of fall on a shirt you can wear year-round. A super-soft flannel pocket makes this circular tee that much nicer. Lucky for us, we got these tees a bit ahead of schedule. Quite a bit ahead of schedule in fact. These were meant for fall, but we think they look pretty good as a Spring release as well. We're probably the only ones that will have them live this early...
Naked & Famous - Pocket Tee - Japan Festival Flower - Black.

We love these pocket tees as much as you guys. That's why we grab new ones every cycle. This version is extra good. The Japan Festival shirts do well every year but aren't always for everyone. That's why a little pop of the fabric makes for such a nice piece. Lucky for us, we got these tees a bit ahead of schedule. Quite a bit ahead of schedule in fact. These were meant for fall, but we think they look pretty good as a Spring release as well. We're probably the only ones that will have them live this early...
Iron Heart - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo/Black.

Wow, wow, wow! Our first experience with Iron Heart's heaviest denim. This stuff is not for the faint of heart. We decided to go with the indigo/black for the first round because it's just that beautiful. It fades with a shadowy nature...and let's be honest. If you're going to wear these leg breakers you better damn well get some incredible fades out of them. We've seen these beauties after a few years, and we must say there is nothing quite like it. This is the cream of the crop, the head honcho, the end-all-be-all of denim. Scop all the details below and check the leg breakers in action in the on-body pictures. With a rope-dyed indigo warp that will fade and a reactive-dyed black weft that won't, you're looking at one of the most unique denims in the world as well! These might seem stiff up front, just keep in minded with a little tender love and care that they will become soft and comfy.
Made in Japan.
Iron Heart - 11oz Cotton Knit Long-Sleeved Sweater - Blue, White.

The stripe knit always gets us. We are really diggin this blue/white combo. This is one of the densest fabrics we've ever felt, yet still soft. It drapes super nicely even when it's tight like in the pics. It will easily keep you warm all winter long meaning you can think of this piece as a thermal. We snagged two options this round, both easily worn as an outer or under layer. Scope the beautiful woven tags at the collar and hip.

Made in Japan.
RGT - 15oz Supply Jacket - Copper Selvedge Canvas.

It's hard to contain the excitement for this Rogue Territory masterpiece. The Selvedge Canvas series is always good, but they went over the top with this piece. The Copper Canvas is the heaviest we've ever had in-store. It's woven in a way that feels heavy but is nowhere near as stiff as a 15oz denim. This looser weave lends to a much easier break-in process. You'll see a grid-like pattern that is always there in canvas just is more exaggerated because of the weight. They've stepped up to the plate and added the Supply Jacket silhouette to the CSC lineup. This fabric blew through the water in the Service Shirt last time, so they gave everyone what they were asking for. We think this fabric potentially lends even heavier to this jacket. We'll let you be the judge of this though. Made in California.
Iron Heart - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Vest - Indigo.

Many a jacket has had its sleeves cut off to make the iconic denim vest. Well no more...now you can buy it with the sleeves already cut off. This 21oz, like the rest of their 21oz pieces, is the grail. You proably know by now, anything we a beige weft has our heart. We had to have it to layer with sweaters and sweatshirts. You know and love the 21oz denim, and now you can fade the heck out of the vest version of it. And oh yeah, it has handwarmer pockets!

Made in Japan.
