We have to admit we were excited about this one on multiple levels, starting with the price. It's a wonderful option for someone looking for warmth, style, and comfort without stepping all the way up to the N-1. It's also a beautiful sub-option for anyone that already owns the N-1. It's got some absolutely incredible details, all of which we'll be lusting over for some time to come.
The influence of WWII on our American Culture continues nearly 80 years after Victory. Dehen 1920 is introducing its very own and very special version of the US Naval A-2 Deck Jacket this season. Constructed of a cotton sateen shell (same as the N-1) with a luxurious natural shearling lining, this refined and detailed newcomer boasts a rugged and handsome practicality. Built to last a lifetime, their A2-E is a perfect fit for the season!

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance.
Fit Notes: Our first impression is that Dehen fits with a more American cut (i.e. larger). We've been proven wrong with the past few pieces though. We would say this brand has one of the truest fits on the market, if that's possible. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a medium in the pictures which is his typical North American size. If you plan to layer at all with this jacket, stick with your true size. It has just slightly more room than the N-1, but just slightly. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.

Shawl Sweater Coat - Pine
We haven't been able to get these Shawl Sweaters back in stock since they absolutely disappeared last year. The best news is, we've got a special seasonal color. This “Pine” is such a rich, Winter friendly color that is hard not to like. Their four-end heavyweight construction is unmatched. They use welt pockets, interior elbow patches, fold-back cuffs, and custom corozo buttons to create this look. These things use more than 3 pounds of 100% wool yarn. Don't expect to be able to beat this piece up. It will be around longer than you!

N-1 Deck Jacket - Fatigue, Brown
The N-1 Jacket has very quickly become something we can hardly keep in stock. You guys asked for it, and we had to deliver. The Fatigue/Brown combo seams to be an instant classic that is already nearly sold out on their website. We just want to stare at it all day. It's pretty stiff competition at the shop between jungle cloth and sateen...so you'll have to be the decider. The sateen is making a hell of a case as fabric of the year.

Woven Submariner Coat - Loden
We've had our eye on the Submariner coat for ages. It takes all the delicious qualities of their sweaters and gives them to an iconic military silhouette. It's by far one of the most versatile pieces we've ever carried from Dehen. The large flap pockets are an awesome accentuating feature of the front. You've also got that stand neck style collar with the collar stand extension. We love that they've taken this coat and made it from their iconic wool. It's a one-of-a-kind jacket simply because no one does a 3-pound knitted wool version of it! It also helps that it's gorgeous.
