Studio D'Artisan - 15oz G3 Coverall Selvedge - Indigo One-Wash

We're very quickly realizing that the most important part of the name in Studio D'Artisan, is the artisan. They take quality and construction to a van Gogh level of artistry. It's fairly easy to overlook a coverall, but not this one. The accented stitching, in a contrasting color, starts this piece off. You'll see little monkey-like stitches on the pockets/collar and curved double-needle work on the cuffs. The next thing we notice was that pink selvedge ID on the locker loops. Your eyes are next drawn to that goat leather patch with the piggies and wonderful Japanese symbols in red. The fabric itself, being loomstate with a one-wash, is just mind-boggling. It has a very rich, deep natural tent that reads almost brown. The reason it's called the G3 is that it's created on an artisan G3 Toyoda loom that is one of the last examples of a non-automatic changing shuttle. That takes time...loads of extra time.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a small fit. That being said, Tommy stuck to his true size of a 40, or medium for the pictures, and it fit slightly big (as a coverall is supposed to). If he were looking for a tighter fit, he could go down one...but we would not recommend this for our average customer. We recommend buying true to size. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
