The term "Serge de Nimes" derives from the word for fabric in the Nimes region of France. Among the essential components for denim, the T-shirt stands out as a crucial item, designed with the concept of being a "real basic." DENIME T-shirts are crafted from Ugandan cotton, famously referred to as "the pearl of Africa" by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Ugandan cotton boasts unique characteristics, such as its elasticity, nurtured by the blessings of the Nile River during its growth. Furthermore, this cotton exhibits medium to long fiber length, which contributes to its strength due to the cultivation of fully ripened cotton. In the production process of "DENIME," No. 14 empty yarn is spun and knitted using a sinker machine. This meticulous approach results in a resilient cotton sheeting fabric that preserves the original elasticity of cotton. These are quite a bit less shadowy than the 4601. They also have this gorgeous small, spade-style pocket.

These shirts are not pre-rinsed. Approximate Shrinkage:
  • Length -1"
  • Width -1"
  • Sleeve length - 1/2"

We recommend a cold water wash and dry flat. If you have any woes about sizing or the wash process in general, definitely size up to the next size.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in these tees. He's decided to size up over the years due to shrinkage. He prefers the look of the shirt at one size up as well. We highly recommend you go up at least once. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.
