SP-098B - 45th Anniversary "Hinode" Tee - Madder Red

$ 99.00

When we saw that Studio made tee shirts, we couldn't say no. We've had really great success with this tee shirt, with people coming back for more over and over in the blanks. Studio's artisan manufacturing shows through on tees that have an incredible hand feel from that American Cotton. It's really a beautiful blending of American and Japanese culture. This is the original fluffy version of the cotton that becomes even more fluffy when you add the "Hinode" garment-dyeing process. This is a plant-based dye known as "madder red" which was used throughout history, most notably for the Japanese flag known as "Hinomaru" during the Meiji era.

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a small fit. This is one of those pieces. Tommy is wearing a size XL in the pictures. This is his preferred size in this shirt. Imagine that these fit about a full-size small. You should size up at least once. Tommy can typically wear a medium in North American brands and has sized up twice here for a roomier look that he likes. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
