The Two Ears Brand
Out of Stock
Two Ears Brand - "Poem" Selvedge Bandanna - Lancaster Blue.
You guys spoke loud and clear on this one. Brands carrying this new wave of Two Ears Brand put up polls and the consensus all over the world was for the "beige" one. Funnily enough, it's labeled by the print color of Lancaster Blue. It's always hard to know what the final product is going to look like, especially when all you're working with is a digital rendering. But, we stopped for a moment and remembered just how intricate, crisp, and beautiful the last round of Marvel bandanas were. At the time it had detail, unlike anything we had seen in the bandanna world. To this day - nearly 2 years on - that hasn't changed. This rose petal design showed up and is everything we had hoped for, and more.
This design dates back to the late 1800s. Bandanas of this Era were inspired by nature and usually included motifs of flowers, fruits, and animals. These were often called "Bandanas of the Plains" as they were worn by the people migrating from East to West. The process of manufacturing itself is pretty extensive. The design was drafted by expert sculptors and carved into each paper separately. Those were later packed into cylinders for printing. Each color requires a separate cylinder. "Lancaster Blue" was a popular color of this era as seen in dishes and tableware. Double blue was very trendy at the time and was influenced by the contemporary British color "Blue Willow."
Size approximately 19.7 x 19.7" (shrinking, after washing will occur).
These bandanas are hand-printed in Japan. We're one of only 2 stores in America carrying this product.
