03-8245-99 - Denim Army Shirt - Sky Blue
orSlow - Denim Army Shirt - Sky Blue
If you can't tell by now, we love fatigue-style shirt. It appears that this is very similar to the fatigue with some modifications. You'll see their iconic copper buttons and a dual pen slot on the upper left pocket. While all the previous versions employed the use of reverse sateen, this baby has used incredibly faded and used denim in the color they refer to as "sky blue." We can't get over how well this shirt goes with the rest of the lineup. You can easily pair this with fatigues, cargos, or new yorkers just as easily as you pair it with some 105 or 107s in literally any fabric. This shirt is built to be worn right away. It's hardy yet soft from the heavy wear process. It has a perfect drape and we can't stop ogling this beauty. And, it appears we're the only ones carrying on the internet at the moment. So take that with a grain of salt.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a (2) in this shirt. We've always found that these shirts are a bit longer, but with the way we're wearing things as of late, that's not an issue. The extra room is welcome. These fit like a normal orSlow shirt and we would recommend sticking with whatever you normally buy from the brand. If you're new to the brand, pay close attention to those size charts. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.

The term "Serge de Nimes" derives from the word for fabric in the Nimes region of France. Among the essential components for denim, the T-shirt stands out as a crucial item, designed with the concept of being a "real basic." DENIME T-shirts are crafted from Ugandan cotton, famously referred to as "the pearl of Africa" by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Ugandan cotton boasts unique characteristics, such as its elasticity, nurtured by the blessings of the Nile River during its growth. These shirts are known for their texture for a reason. Made on Vintage 60's Era sinker knitting machines, these puppies have no side seams. This John Gluckow collaboration tee has a smaller ribbed collar than the 4601, but is built in a similar manner. It truly is unlike nearly anything else on the market. The single yarn knit creates an incredible striation that will age and mold uniquely as you wear the shirt. The hand feel is super soft but you get a texture similar to what we look for in our denim. And, for anyone who has never had a chance to get a bigger size, John has specifically had them build XXLs on almost all his collab goods.
