This is the easiest purchase we've ever made for the shop. We absolutely love this color and it's a special kind of weave from Japan. If that doesn't get us going, we don't know what does. The persimmon dye gets to show its true colors on this woven. By all means, it's brown but in the right light...that orange cast pops like crazy. It's soft, it's got amazing tag work, and it has wonderful details like the v-insert and long ribbing. This thing is a win, win.

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a small fit. It could easily be said this is one of those pieces. Tommy is wearing a medium in the pictures, but he would definitely size up to a large for personal use. We recommend sizing up at least one on these. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.

We were over the moon to get our hands on this extremely limited run of Greencast Slub Selvedge. If you recognize this beautiful fabric, kudos because it's been nearly a decade since its last release as part of the Made in Japan series. It has been their most requested denim since, because everyone loves a greencast. This hue is accomplished by adding a bit of green dye to the batch either just at the beginning or just at the end of the process. It creates a bit of a lighter, less indigo-dense fabric that is easy to see upfront. The real green comes out as the pair fades revealing a gradient of color. Probably the other reason these were so popular is that slubby texture was created by using uneven yarns in the weaving process. This yarn also has loose bits we like to call fleck. You'll see both natural and indigo flecks popping galore on this pair. It's pretty much the trifecta of goodness for the indigo-heads out there.
