Men's nylon light weight MA-1: B25 "Apache" commemorative flight jacket is based on jackets that may have been worn by those in the 345th Bombardment group in the late 50s. The jacket has two outside snap close front pockets, a left sleeve zippered pocket and an inside pocket. It is a comfortable fit, and should be ordered in the normal size.

The decorations include a 345th Air Apache and 501st Geronimo patch on the chest, as well as a matching bomber and air force patch on the sleeves. The arms have a arrow embroidery and the back is a full size embroidery commemorating the 345th Bombardment Group.

Imported.

USA service men have been buying custom tailored Souvenir Tour jackets since the late 40's when American G.I. s stationed in Japan purchased Baseball style jackets with embroidered Asian motifs. These early jackets were made of silk and called Sukajans. The tradition continues today.

This MA-1 jacket is based on jackets that may have been worn by those in the 345th Bombardment group in the late 50s. These airmen flew in B-25 Mitchell bombers and were originally active in WWII and later in the Korean war. This jacket is based on an actual vintage jacket from our archives.
