Dotsume Baseball Cap "K" - 220 Grains Khaki
Jackman - Dotsume Baseball Cap "K" - 220 Grains Khaki
We've had our eye on these for a while. From the short brim to the fact that they're lightweight and breathable, they were an instant yes. They have a classic baseball brim style, but nothing about these is classic. The interior has a super unique, ribbed band to help them fit most heads.
Dotsume Tenjiku cap made by knitting American cotton with a hanging knitting machine while squeezing it to the utmost limit. By slowly knitting with a hanging knitting machine, the stitches are evenly clogged, and it is characterized by being less likely to shrink or distort even after repeated wearing and washing.
- 100% Cotton
- Produced in Jackman factory in Fukui prefecture
SIZE | Around the Head |
---|---|
One Size | 24.8 |
A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance.
Fit Notes: These have a one size notation, but they probably wouldn't be the best for guys with huge heads. The interior ribbing allows for them to stretch to the size of the exterior but not much further than that. The nice part is, if you have a smaller head...the ribbing will really help make this fit.

Hats
Our long-awaited partnership with Post O'Alls has finally come to fruition. As we transition into a Post Heritage version of James Dant, one that doesn't shirk the traditional ways of manufacturing, but does accept newer, more contemporary silhouettes...it only makes sense to work with a brand like Post O'Alls. Since its origin in 1993, this brand has been taking iconic American silhouettes and giving them a little extra. In the more recent past, this started to translate to a more modern form of garments. In a world full of "perfect fits" they were offering roomy silhouettes that drape perfectly but don't have to stick to your biceps to look good. It may not be what "Post Overalls" stands for, but we like to think of the "Post" as meaning "after" and the "O'Alls" as meaning traditional heritage. They've evolved beyond the ideals of American menswear into a genre of their own.
This hat is their traditional baseball cap style. Although this collection presented well online, we couldn't quite guarantee what we were seeing was going to be some of the best fabrics we've ever touched, but when they arrived we were flabbergasted. It's a gorgeous smooth, shiny, and heavily compacted moleskin that feels a lot like smooth Jungle Cloth. They are one of those companies that choose right every time they are presented with a design path. We've never in our 10 years had a baseball cap fit as well as these!

CU BB Cap "K" - 07 Black
We've had our eye on these for a while. From the short brim to the fact that they're lightweight and breathable, they were an instant yes. They have a classic baseball brim style, but nothing about these is classic. They are using modern techniques to weave the fabric from which this style is born.
This is a cotton nylon blend that feels a lot like a jersey cloth, but they're listed as canvas. They're made with a really cozy fabric for the head that has tons of shape ability and an adjustable leather strap.

Jackman grabbed our attention right away. The fabrics are on a whole other level, including these waffle knit caps. The 100% cotton waffle design will blow your mind. You're going to think there's stretch in the cap, but that is just how insanely good they are with technical natural knits in Japan. It is unlike anything we've ever felt. They are also made longer than a typical beanie we purchase. It makes this cap so versatile because if you don't like a watch cap look, you can wear it with just one roll. It also fits a huge variety of heads! These waffle caps have quickly become our favorite in the store. It's the variations on common colors that do it for us, and this is a perfect Dark Turquoise.

Wool Knit Watch Cap - Smoke
We knew the instant we laid hands on these watch caps that they were coming home to the shop. The ability to wear them both single-cuffed and double-cuffed is a huge selling point. Dehen has used their tried and true infamous knitting machines for these but with an alternative stitch for a softer hand feel. Notice the zig-zag stitch at the top of the cuff...one of the most appealing details in our opinion. These two seasonal colors will match future sweater releases.
