Pizza Hyena Blanket - Wine, Turquoise, White
Indigofera - Pizza Hyena Blanket - Wine, Turquoise, White
Every time we see a new Björn Atldax design, we think "This can't be topped." And then, he goes and designs a Pizza Hyena. Zach was lucky enough to experience Omnipollos Hatt when he was in Sweden, and now we get a little taste (pun intended) of their pizza with this incredible blanket. The mix of wine, purple, and turquoise is a unique twist on pizza. One, only Bjorn and Indigofera can pull off. This speaks to us on so many levels, and if you don't scoop it up right away...we may just have a new permanent, NFS wall decoration at the shop!
These blankets get talked about in a way as if they're tapestries because they are. You could just hang them on the wall if you wanted and no one would bat an eye. But the reality is, they are the most highly functional wool blankets we've ever touched. The harry pile of the Norwegian Wool creates a landscape of heat-trapping yet breathability yet seen from any of the brands touting their wool excellence. These seriously are the best blankets in the world, and you get some of the best artwork in the world to go along with that undeniable truth.

Gryphon Talon Blanket - Beige, Navy
Indigofera has been making the softest and best blankets in our industry for a long time. These are all made in Norway in the same family-owned factory that's been open since the 1940s. We find people hang these more as a work of art than for personal use...but don't get it twisted. These are made for the long haul. You can use these to keep you warm in the winter or for camping in the backwoods during the summer. Zach & Tommy both own blankets from Indigofera and could never go back. There's something incredible about a blanket being both low-tension weave and breathable yet one of the warmest blankets we've ever used.
We've been holding out on a Gryphon design blanket for some time now. We always felt that the symbol itself was so damn cool that it deserved a place in the shop, but we wanted one without the branding...and they delivered on this beauty. This seriously is a work of art reminiscent of a tapestry hanging in a monarch's castle. They've turned two colors into a deep work of talent that we've fallen in love with.

This design is iconicly good and we simply had to have it in an updated colorway. The beige, black, and brown are beautifully in sync with this few-of-a-kind wool blanket.
The classic stripe blanket gets turned on its head a bit with this color combo. We were drawn to it right away as something we've never seen before. This one is inspired by the beautiful nature of Sierraville California. We couldn't quite figure out which color makes this pop at first, but we've decided after close study that it's the red. That's most likely why they went with it for the accent color on the adorning whip stitch. This one is for those who don't want flaming skulls, but still want a conversation piece in their home. This piece was an inspiration from Mats, Indigofera's co-owner and creative director. He had a blanket like this in his home as a child.
