RGSW02.80 - 11.3oz Short Sleeve Sweatshirt Relaxed Fit - Grey Marl
Merz b. Schwanen - 11.3oz Short Sleeve Sweatshirt Relaxed Fit - Grey Marl
Merz has been on our list for quite some time. Can you believe they've been around for 111 years? That's currently our oldest brand! They've stuck around because they do something quite incredible with basics. They stand behind the idea that basics can be something to get excited about. So they create the best and put their iconic branding on just the tags. We're so happy to introduce this German line to our store. In the same way we correlate Japanese production to meticulous attention to detail, we correlate German production to impeccable engineering. We hope you love these super-engineered basics!
If you've followed us over the last ten years, you know that we love a good cut-off crewneck. We've carried them in the past, and we'll carry them in the future. They're an incredible option for guys who typically have very limited options in tops. They wear like a tee shirt but weigh in like a sweatshirt and we really dig that. This one is a 3-thread all organic cotton loopback fleece. It's super comfy and ready to be layered straight away. Like everything Merz makes, these are constructed impeccably.
- 100% Cotton
- 11oz garment-dyed fleece
- Raglan sleeves
- Ribbed hem

Fit Notes: So these fit more like the trim fit we expect from Merz. We heard over and over that Merz fit small, and these indeed fit the bill. Tommy needed to size up twice in this crew neck. The XL fit pretty spot on. As long as you're cool with a more classic, short-in-the-body fit you can likely get away with sizing up just once. You can see the chest is pretty normal sizing, but the length is where you want to pay close attention. Tomy is 5'10," 170lbs, with a 40" chest, and typically wears a North American M, and a Japanese L.

The term "Serge de Nimes" derives from the word for fabric in the Nimes region of France. Among the essential components for denim, the T-shirt stands out as a crucial item, designed with the concept of being a "real basic." DENIME T-shirts are crafted from Ugandan cotton, famously referred to as "the pearl of Africa" by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Ugandan cotton boasts unique characteristics, such as its elasticity, nurtured by the blessings of the Nile River during its growth. These shirts are known for their texture for a reason. Made on Vintage 60's Era sinker knitting machines, these puppies have no side seams. This John Gluckow collaboration tee has a smaller ribbed collar than the 4601, but is built in a similar manner. It truly is unlike nearly anything else on the market. The single yarn knit creates an incredible striation that will age and mold uniquely as you wear the shirt. The hand feel is super soft but you get a texture similar to what we look for in our denim. And, for anyone who has never had a chance to get a bigger size, John has specifically had them build XXLs on almost all his collab goods.
