Varsity Jacket - Brown, Black
Dehen 1920 - Varsity Jacket - Brown, Black
The Varsity Jacket is an American Icon. No one does it like Dehen. The supple leather and wool body on this sleek, streamlined jacket are nothing like the one you probably had 20 years ago. This is the real deal. Dehen crafts each one of these pieces by hand using time-honored methods in their factory in Portland. If you love rocking high-top sneakers and raw denim, you can't go wrong with a varsity jacket. This color combo is super unique and unlike anything we've seen them do before. We're really digging the black leather on the sleeves and the chocolate goodness of the melton wool body.
- Pendleton 24 ounce melton wool body
- Premium leather sleeves, pocket welts, and locker loop
- 100% worsted wool trim
- Roll collar
- Quilted Lining
- internal patch pocket
- Snap front closure

Fit Notes: Our first impression is that Dehen fits with a more American cut (i.e. larger). We've been proven wrong with the past few pieces though. We would say this brand has one of the truest fits on the market, if that's possible. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a small in this picture, more as an experiment rather than a true attempt at sizing the jacket. If you pop over to the oxford variation, you'll be able to see what a Medium looks like. The only way Tommy was able to fit a small was by wearing only a tee-shirt underneath, and even then the range of motion in the arms was lacking. If you plan to layer at all with this jacket, stick with your true size. Tommy is 5'10," 162lbs with a 40" chest.
