Field Shirt Plaid - Navy, Blush Ombré

If this isn't the flannel everyone gets excited about this season, we have no idea what we're doing. This baby is that once-a-season, or even once-a-year color that we wish we had more of. This fabric would fit any silhouette, but the field shirt seems to be the one we keep coming back to. It's a really classic, comfy plaid shirt with two chest pockets and black urea buttons. The buttons look really great against this variegated fabric. Variegation is when multiple yarns in different colors are twisted together to create one very deep, very rich yarn. When you weave those into a fabric, you get a textile full of layers that moves beyond the two-dimensional flatness of most flannels. The contrast in this piece is beyond describing. We love the way the colors blend and we love the way it pairs with denim.

Fit Notes: The Field Shirt is meant to be less trim than some of their other shirts. This piece isn't necessarily a "size-up" shirt unless you like it that way.  Shop owner Tommy has been sizing up to a large in virtually everything. To be honest, it's made his life so much easier, and the fits look better with a roomier pant. Unless you're wearing slim jeans, we don't recommend buying your true size. Go up once! Tommy is 5'10," 175bs with a 40" chest.
