Naked & Famous - Recycled Selvedge - Stone Grey - Super Guy.

When we first saw this denim in 2020 for pre-booking, we were instantly intrigued. Really, our only question was...do we get the Summer Sky or this Recycled Selvedge. Well, we like them both so much that we decided to take a shot and go for both. Luckily, you guys did as well and the first round of Summer Sky is now nearly gone. If you're looking for a lighter-colored denim for the summer, this will be your last shot. Naked & Famous has already sold through the Easy Guy, and Weird Guy in this fabric and they're fully expecting this to do the same (so are we).

This recycled selvedge gives us all the stiff, creasing, well-aging tingles that pure raw denim does...it's just quite a bit lighter. They've taken the remnants of selvedge denim, shredded them in order to make yarn. If you look closely, you can see the remnants shining through in the form of fleck. What you get is this incredibly unique color that is usually only achieved through heavy, earth-destroying stone or acid washing methods. That's what drew us to this. It ticks all our planet-friendly boxes. And...it looks incredible. From first wear to about 6 hours in, these get more and more comfortable while keeping their shape and looking damn good all the while.
Warehouse & Co. - Lot 3091 - S/S Open Collar Shirt - Thin Stripe.

We were drawn to the details in this shirt from Warehouse instantly. The unique pocket style from the 'Big Yank' shirts of the '30s and '40s is nothing like we'd ever seen. The Italian-style collar makes a nice relaxed feel where you can wear it open or closed. The round collars are also a nice touch. And, our favorite has to be the button-back short sleeves. We love the instant shape and vintage look this gives the piece. They have a flat hem meant to be worn untucked for the perfect summer shirt. Oh yeah, it's also selvedge chambray. Check the pictures of the inner placket for the selvedge edge.
Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4059 - Ringer T-Shirt - Cream, Navy.

Warehouse & Co. has been on the list for some time now. Ever since Zach came back from Europe sporting his reproduction tees and jeans made in Japan, we were hooked. The texture of these tee shirts is like no other, and we're so excited to finally be working with Warehouse & Co. This round, we've re-upped on a classic. This time, in two colors.

To describe this cotton has been hard we find, not only for us but industry-wide. Some people call it slub. We were calling it texture at first, but ultimately our conversations with Warehouse kept bringing up one word - Shadow. When you put these shirts in the proper light, it makes perfect sense. The highs and lows in color can only truly be described as horizontal shadows in the cotton.

Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4082 - One Button Henley Neck - Oatmeal.

You guys continue to blow us away with your acceptance of this brand. The initial and then repeat business for Warehouse and especially the 4601 Tees has been amazing. So we thought these one button henley's might just put a twist on it for guys who already have a couple tees. We've seen the classic 3 button and even 4-5 button henleys, but never have we had a one button in store. We love the way this looks and hope you'll be enjoying one very shortly.

Iron Heart - 14oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Cut Jeans - Indigo.

If you're looking for a step up from your battered and torn selvedge selection, this is an incredible place to start. At 14oz, these still have heft, but they're not going to break the bank or break your legs. These are the super slim cut jeans that we find to be more tight in the thighs with less taper from the knee to hem. They work really well cuffed high slip ons. Their 14oz denim is their second iteration twisted weft yard (the same construction technique as their 21oz selvedge). It is their "least heavy" Japanese denim, but it goes without saying that nothing from Iron Heart is under-constructed. These things are solid and built to last.

Iron Heart- 13oz Military Serge Work Shirt - Olive Drab Green.

The western version of this was a long-awaited delivery, and we had to keep the ball rolling with the Work Shirt. We weren't sure the Western could be topped, but for us work shirt lovers...this thing is immaculate. The brown bobbin thread in the details really pops of the olive drab fabric. The sulphur dye goes deep on this one creating one of the richest shirts in their lineup. As many know, the line is chock full of indigo and black, but rarely do we get olives as fine as this. The western moved quick...so if you have a hankering for OD green, now is the time.

Iron Heart - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo/Black.

There's nothing quite like the high contrast fades you get from Indigo/Black selvedge. The black sulphur dyed weft acts as a base layer for what many people consider shadow selvedge. When the whites start to pop through from the core of the yarn they come with indigo. It's one of the most incredible things in our world, and now we have it in one of the most incredible shirts we carry! The Western, with it's black permex snaps, is suited for this phenomenal fabric.

Iron Heart - 12oz Herringbone Work Shirt - Indigo.

Well, this is for sure something different from Iron Heart. Don't get us wrong, it has the classic Iron Heart starch, but the fabric itself is something we've never seen from them. We've seen herringbone work shirts before, but never like this. The Iron Heart version is exactly what you would expect. Triple-needle stitching with a wonderful little pop of orange for flare. This is one of the best shirts of 2021 so far. One just might have to come home with us if you don't scoop it up first!

Iron Heart - 12oz Wabash/Duck Work Vest - Black/Black.

Oh weee. We were excited to see a new silhouette, at least to us, pop up on the radar. And this wabash/duck canvas vest is a stunner. The since back and wide arm opening is a refreshing shift from all-moto-all-the-time. Would you also believe that it's sulphur rope dyed so it's going to fade nicely to its natural core? It's a truly marvelous piece of art in the form of clothing. The bleach-dyed Wabash stripe gives it a touch of dressy while remaining a classic work vest you can kick from here to California and back.

Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4601 - Slubby Cotton T-Shirt - Orange. You guys continue to blow us away with your acceptance of this brand. The initial and then repeat business for Warehouse and especially these 4601 Tees has been amazing. I think the quality speaks for itself on these shadowy tees! Once you have one, you know what we're talking about. The only problem is, they're pretty limited so it's can take us quite some time to get them back in stock. We snagged some new colors and a few more sizes, but the words out now. People have been asking about them for weeks again. Honestly, they've been asking for more since the last round sold out. These shirts are known for their texture for a reason. Made on Vintage 60's Era sinker knitting machines, these puppies have no side seams. You will also notice a wrapped, ribbed reinforced collar that will stand up to the daily wear you'll throw at a t-shirt. It truly is unlike nearly anything else on the market. The single yarn knit creates an incredible striation that will age and mold uniquely as you wear the shirt. The hand feel is super soft but you get a texture similar to what we look for in our denim. Warehouse & Co makes one of the best tee shirts in the world.

Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4601 - Slubby Cotton Pocket T-Shirt - Yusuke Hanai - Heather.

The 4601 has been so good to us in the plain pocket tee, but we have yet to venture into the world of prints. We thought this was the perfect entry. Yusuke Hanai's work is excitingly familiar, yet unlike anything we've seen. The dopey jaguar resonated with us instantly. It's silly yet iconic, and it's printed on one of the best shirts in the world!

Warehouse & Co. - Lot 4063 - Slubby Cotton 3/4 Football Tee - Heather Grey.

Probably the first thing that drew us to the football tee from Warehouse & Co was the tag. The pop of orange against the white custom woven label grabbed our attention. Then we started to look at the fabric blocking and unique shaping work. The way the shoulders are shaped is reminiscent of shoulder pads in football. Overall, this piece is just different. It's unique and not many people carry it...that's why we love it so much.

These shirts are known for their texture for a reason. Made on Vintage 60's Era sinker knitting machines, these puppies have no side seams. Warehouse & Co makes an incredible tee, and they've transferred that directly to this silhouette.

Benzak - BDD-516 - 16oz Heavy Slub RHT.

When we knew we had the option to grab some Made in Japan denim from Benzak, this was our first choice. If we had to choose one weight of denim forever, it would be 16oz. And, you already know we love slub. These have so much texture that you would rightfully expect from Japanese denim. On top of that, they have all the extra details listed below you usually only see from Japan. The double-needle indigo stitch on the top of the back pockets and the hidden single needle along the inseam are two of our favorites. That's because they are details that only reveal themselves as the denim ages and fades. You also can't deny the 100% brass buttons and rivets. And, pocket bags. My goodness, the pocket bags look and feel amazing. Keep in mind, even though this is a 16oz denim, it will break it much quicker than your standard heavy slub denim. The left-hand twill will ensure that. Overall, it's one of the best pairs we've laid hands on in some time. They're pretty phenomenal.
Hudson Made - Worker's Soap - 4oz.

If you want to know why the shop smells so good, this is one of the main reasons right here. I think if this scent were made in every product Hudson Made produces, we would sell them all. But that's the beauty of it. You can only get this in a bar soap.

Hudson Made - Field Botanical Bath Tea. I don't know that we've seen a bath product so pretty. We even went to the trouble of playing with the wonderfully fragrant botanicals during the shoot. After having such good luck with the Restore and Soothe bath salts, we figured we would complete the trifecta. Hudson Made's botanicals are grown in partnership with local farmers and wild harvested from pristine forests and meadows in the Catskill Mountains. The natural balancing properties of their botanicals are released when added to hot water. Open the pores and receive the benefits of organic herbs and flowers. Approximately 4 applications for a bath or facial per jar. (this is their recommendation, but we think there is probably double that amount per jar, especially when blended with other salts/soaps)
