Warehouse & Co. has very quickly become one of our top-selling import brands for a reason. Their attention to detail and dedication to traditional construction is beyond the pale of comparison. We find ourselves diving into things like why they chose the style of tag or how one seam is built compared to another. That is the joy of this brand for us. Seeing conscious decision-making in the flesh from one of the best brands to do it in Japan since 1995.

These socks are anything but plain. They're absolutely beautiful cotton. The natural color and wonderful hand feel make up a wonderful pair of knit socks for the guys who want something without a pattern. They've also used a special method called linking to make sure the seam doesn't sit on top of your toes and cause discomfort. It's pretty wonderful on foot.

While we love our crazy, nordic pattern socks...we thought it might be time for something a little more simple. We of course had to continue our wonderful relationship with Japan, but this time you can wear these with anything. This sock has just a hint of flare in the 3 stripe design, and it's nice and low so you can see the details when your pants raise as you sit down. Usually, the stripes are at the top so you never see them! Not these. That attention to detail was enough to make us love them. We have casually fallen madly in love with this sock. It's so fluffy and so comfy that we personally loathe the days when they're in the hamper. We decided to get every color this year because that's how much we truly believe in this sock. And we've heard the same feedback from our customers.

Designed based on tube socks made in the U.S. in the late 1970s, these ribbed socks are knitted with a special knitting machine that is hard to find today, using low-count supple cotton yarn. The liner of the sole is brushed for a unique bouncy feel that only Rototo can create.

Iron Heart - 21oz Non-Fade Denim Low-Top Sneakers - Superblack.

Sometimes you have to wait longer than you want for a good thing. The return of these sneakers was that good thing. In the meantime, we've nearly sold through their indigo counterpart...but we knew that everyone was also waiting for the superblack, non-fades. These things are as slick as they come and made with all of the Iron Heart quality at a trusted factory in Kurume (one of only three doing vulcanization in Japan). Moonstar makes, in our opinion, the best traditional sneaker in the game. So of course Iron Heart went to them with their iconic fabrics to produce customs. The super black non-fade is a super interesting concept with a sneaker too, because even canvas fades with time. It will be interesting to see just how long this black stays superblack.

We've been waiting on new colors from Moonstar for ages, and they're finally here. Not only that, but they're perfect. We've been graced with two wonderful new colors. The blue/green is more of a stand out color compared to the gray. But don't get us wrong, it's still super versatile. This color is one of those perfect blue/greens that everyone is looking for.

The Alweather was in our wheelhouse from the start, but we had to wait for stock to come around and it's finally here. They hold up to washing and drying extremely well, even though they don't recommend it. That's even more impressive to us. The combed cotton is Made in Japan and carries no impurities. It's also stronger and fluffier than your everyday cotton. The patterns are what sell you upfront, but the quality is what keeps you coming back for life.

We don't have our typical description of "naming" from Chup this round, as they have yet to post their wools. Well, that's not going to stop us from getting them up. We can only venture to guess this "Lumimesta" word is once again a Scandinavian word for luminescent. That's probably due to the bright colors displayed throughout this brilliant sock. These are quite honestly our favorite of the lot. And they're wool which makes them even sturdier and more resistant to the elements.

SJO - Blooming greenery and plants do not lose to the heat of the summer, around a lake. Inspiration for this sock came from the sound of waves and wind under the summer sun. "Sjo” means lake in Swedish.

LATARINA is that Early summer traditional festival: “gratitude for shine”, many skip over the sky..in fact, 8,000 paper lanterns in Northern Europe, in Poland. The design pattern imitates the lantern flying in the night sky. The Nordic sweater turned into one of the traditional patterns is “Loose Lakota”.

"Hygge" is a defining characteristic in Danish culture meaning a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. This is reminiscent of the warmth of the fireplace that you feel during a cold winter...an image of people enjoying a book in the sun shining through the cold window as the cool winds blow outside. This socks design comes from the designers' image of a joyful time people spend in their homes during the coldest parts of the year.

We've been waiting on this slip-on for ages. We finally were able to squeeze it into the ever-growing lineup, and we absolutely love it. It's extremely clean, with no frills other than the fact that it has this awesome grippy sole. They're a classic sneakerhead's dream!

Orslow x Malibu - Zuma - Indigo Denim.

In our tenure, we've never carried a sandal or a slide. Nothing ever really spoke to us until this plain weave denim version. The wonderful manufacturers at Malibu have taken what looks a lot like elongated belt loops and created an incredible woven upper to go with their proprietary 3-piece outsole unit wrapped in Natural Malaysian Crepe gum soles. This particular denim is likely the same they use for the 105 and 107 models as it's woven on a machine that can only make 50 meters a day - nice and slow like orSlow likes it. This is an elevated slide for us. It's something you can wear around the house if you like but is meant to be worn on the streets. It's a blend of "our" world with denim and crepe soles and a world we haven't previously dipped our toes in. The combo creates something incredibly unique that really has us buzzing.

Rototo - Waffle Cotton Crew Sock - Medium Gray.

One of the first things that drew us to Rototo is their versatility in style. By now, you know we have a massive thing for waffle...when it's done right. And, oh my are these done right? They have such a cool look without having to have wild patterns. The texture of the weave gives them the depth of waffle without making them as hot as a thermal. They're honestly very breathable. We already want one of these in every color.

This cotton-rich sock is woven to create the appearance of a waffle knit jersey fabric. A versatile sock that can be worn comfortably year-round. With thought given to the wearer, the sock is flat knitted on the sole to make sure of a comfortable fit and feel.

Ok, we admit these might be a stretch for some people with the printed bottoms. We also admit they were a selfish purchase. We're gonna be living in these super supple merino sockslippers all winter long. These are like a shirtjac, but for your feet. Haha, not really but we love the way they combined the two words and the two ideas. Why get your feet all sweaty with a pair of house slippers when you can just throw on a cozy pair of socks with a non-slip print on the bottom?
