Moonstar - Gym Classic Sneaker - White
We’ve admired Moonstar from a distance for some time now. ...
Chup - Potlatch Crew Sock - Cactus Blue.

Chup is one we keep coming back to every season. They've been in the lineup for years now and we're more impressed every time. They hold up to washing and drying (though they don't recommend it). That's even more impressive to us. The combed cotton is Made in Japan and carries no impurities. It's also stronger and fluffier than your everyday cotton. The patterns are what sell you upfront, but the quality is what keeps you coming back for life.

POTLATCH - The motif for this design is the costumes worn by Native Americans for the Potlach ceremony to celebrate the good harvest and good fortune of the people.
It is said that the women of the Navajo and Pueblo tribes were highly skilled
at weaving with sheep, goat, and deer fibers.

Rototo - Coarse Ribbed Old School Crew Socks - Bordeaux, Yellow.

While we love our crazy, nordic pattern socks...we thought it might be time for something a little more simple. We of course had to continue our wonderful relationship with Japan, but this time you can wear these with anything. This sock has just a hint of flare in the 3 stripe design, and it's nice and low so you can see the details when your pants raise as you sit down. Usually, the stripes are at the top so you never see them! Not these. That attention to detail was enough to make us love them.

Designed based on tube socks made in the U.S. in the late 1970s, these ribbed socks are knitted with a special knitting machine that is hard to find today, using low-count supple cotton yarn. The liner of the sole is brushed for a unique bouncy feel that only Rototo can create.

Gym Classic Sneaker - Blue

Moonstar - Gym Classic Sneaker - Blue. We’ve admired Moonstar from a distance for some time now. The story of the Moonstar factory in Kyusyu, Japan is now one of legend. The attention to detail and fine crafting is unmatched in the industry. As we made our transition from solely a boot company to sneakers, we knew we must have the best. The process of ka-ryu or vulcanization has been perfected in their factory in Kurume since the companies inception in 1873. The canvas uppers are sewn slowly with precision while the rubber strips and soles are carefully inlaid to prepare for their infamous vulcanization process. The shoes are heated to 120° for 70 minutes making the rubber soft and gummy for your walking pleasure. These gym classic lows are a truly iconic look, especially if you show a little ankle. You won’t stop being surprised by the quality, longevity, and features of these shoes. The blue version might just be the shoe you've been waiting for all your days.
Moonstar - Gym Classic Sneaker - Blue Green.

We've been waiting on new colors from Moonstar for ages, and they're finally here. Not only that, but they're perfect. We've been graced with two wonderful new colors. The blue/green is more of a stand out color compared to the gray. But don't get us wrong, it's still super versatile. This color is one of those perfect blue/greens that everyone is looking for.

Chup - Lumimesta Crew Sock - Oatmeal.

Yet another season, and another round of Chup. They have become our go-to brand for socks due to their incredible construction. The patterns keep them fresh, but to be honest we would buy them if they were black and white. They've been in the lineup for years now and we're more impressed every time. They hold up to washing and drying extremely well, even though they don't recommend it. That's even more impressive to us. The combed cotton is Made in Japan and carries no impurities. It's also stronger and fluffier than your everyday cotton. The patterns are what sell you upfront, but the quality is what keeps you coming back for life.

We don't have our typical description of "naming" from Chup this round, as they have yet to post their wools. Well, that's not going to stop us from getting them up. We can only venture to guess this "Lumimesta" word is once again a Scandinavian word for luminescent. That's probably due to the bright colors displayed throughout this brilliant sock. These are quite honestly our favorite of the lot. And they're wool which makes them even sturdier and more resistant to the elements.

We’ve admired Moonstar from a distance for some time now. The story of the Moonstar factory in Kyusyu, Japan is now one of legend. The shoes are heated to 120° for 70 minutes making the rubber soft and gummy for your walking pleasure.

The Alweather was in our wheelhouse from the start, but we had to wait for stock to come around and it's finally here. The high vulcanization on this pair makes them perfect for guys who want to wear sneakers all winter long, but don't want to walk around with wet feet. They have an iconic style reminiscent of the most hardcore boots of the past. It takes style cues from both American and Japanese footwear, marrying the two perfectly.

Chup - Vivienda Wool Crew Sock - Khaki.

"Vivienda" is a Spanish word for housing or living place. You can see the traditional Spanish silhouettes in this pattern. It reminds us of a sunset on a town in the countryside.

We've been waiting on this slip-on for ages. We finally were able to squeeze it into the ever-growing lineup, and we absolutely love it. It's extremely clean, with no frills other than the fact that it has this awesome grippy sole. They're a classic sneakerhead's dream!
Iron Heart - 21oz Non-Fade Denim Low-Top Sneakers - Superblack.

Sometimes you have to wait longer than you want for a good thing. The return of these sneakers was that good thing. In the meantime, we've nearly sold through their indigo counterpart...but we knew that everyone was also waiting for the superblack, non-fades. These things are as slick as they come and made with all of the Iron Heart quality at a trusted factory in Kurume (one of only three doing vulcanization in Japan). Moonstar makes, in our opinion, the best traditional sneaker in the game. So of course Iron Heart went to them with their iconic fabrics to produce customs. The super black non-fade is a super interesting concept with a sneaker too, because even canvas fades with time. It will be interesting to see just how long this black stays superblack.

Rototo - Checkerboard Crew Sock - Charcoal, Ivory.

Checkerboard has made its way back into the zeitgeist, and to be honest...we think it should've never gone away. Being from the city or race cars, we're definitely into a little checkered flag action. It's nice, after years of seeing bad versions of these, to get a high-quality made-in-Japan version. It's also nice to see something different as they offer it in so many colors. This has to be the one we were most excited about!

The early 1980s saw a surge in ska music’s popularity mainly in London. The checkerboard motif is known as the symbol of 2 Tone Records, one of the initiators of the boom. Featuring the iconic pattern, these crew socks are carefully manufactured by a special machine to make the yarn ends on the backside of the pattern knitted in for a smooth feel. The eye-catching design will surely accentuate your look.

Rototo - Waffle Cotton Crew Sock - Sea Green.

One of the first things that drew us to Rototo is their versatility in style. By now, you know we have a massive thing for waffle...when it's done right. And, oh my are these done right. They have such a cool look without having to have wild patterns. The texture of the weave gives them the depth of waffle without making them as hot as a thermal. They're honestly very breathable. We already want one of these in every color.

This cotton-rich sock is woven to create the appearance of a waffle knit jersey fabric. A versatile sock that can be worn comfortably year-round. With thought given to the wearer, the sock is flat knitted on the sole to make sure of a comfortable fit and feel.

Rototo - Linen Cotton Ribbed Crew Socks - Raw Beige.

While we love our crazy, nordic pattern socks...we thought it might be time for something a little more simple. We of course had to continue our wonderful relationship with Japan, but this time you can wear these with anything. This linen/cotton blend is breathable and soft to the hand (or foot in this case). We're true believers that linen is a magical fabric, and we know it is made even better - stronger - with a touch of cotton.

Using two natural threads, linen and cotton this sock is knitted for comfort. Also, using a special technique that allows for the soft cotton to be knitted facing inwards and the linen thread to be knitted to the outside makes the sock feel fresh to the touch. Created in an abundance of colors, these socks are easy to combine with any outfit.

Rototo - Double Face Crew Socks Merino Wool OG - Blue, Brown.

This pair is called the OG for a reason. It has been in Rototo's lineup from the beginning. We couldn't wait for Fall to get here for many reasons, but this was one of them. They don't make as much sense in the Summer as the low-count organic cotton creates a sweatshirt-like feel on the inside. The Merino exterior is also super soft. Everyone who picks these puppies up wants a pair. And the black version sold through in a week, so if you like this brown base...act quick. They're made the old-school way in the Nara Prefecture of Japan, and they're perfect.

Rototo - Extra Fine Merino Premium Bulky Socks - Dark Yellow, White.

Ok, we admit these might be a stretch for some people with the printed bottoms. We also admit they were a selfish purchase. We're gonna be living in these super supple merino sockslippers all winter long. These are like a shirtjac, but for your feet. Haha, not really but we love the way they combined the two words and the two ideas. Why get your feet all sweaty with a pair of house slippers when you can just throw on a cozy pair of socks with a non-slip print on the bottom?

Rototo - Retro Winter Room Socks - Red, Gray.

If these remind you of hospital slippers, there's a reason for that. The non-slip rubber print on the bottom looks very much like the ones you see used in most cases. But these are no mere hospital slippers. These are crafted by sock whisperers in Japan. They're super fluffy wool built to keep those little toes warm all winter long. You can wear these with boots, or just around the house...and that non-slip print will help you stay on your toes.

Rototo - Pile Leopard Socks - Dark Olive.

We simply couldn't resist a good leopard print sock. We think these are a wonderful way to peacock without really peacocking. Only when you sit down will people get a peak at these puppies. The great thing about Rototo is that their smooth socks are made just as well as their fluffy socks. We like to have the option, and it makes it even better when they throw gorgeous patterns like this our way.

Rototo - Double Face Crew Socks Silk & Cotton - Green, Beige.

You're probably noticing a theme with our FW22 Rototo buy. We really love the double-face socks. If it was all they made, we wouldn't be mad. They're the best in the world at making this style of sock. We really loved the way the silk felt for Spring, so we stacked it up and got even more for Fall/Winter. These babies are silk smooth on the inside.

Rototo - Rain Drop Crew Socks - Black, Ivory.

This is what we've been waiting for! While Spring was a great season to kick off our Rototo partnership, Fall/Winter is where these socks really shine. We went a little funky for this round as well. The raindrop camo pattern has always appealed to us but we normally see it in OD green. Well, they've given us a couple of fun colors to choose from this round in this classic-feeling, smooth-knit crew sock.

Chup - Foraois Wool Crew Sock - Wood.
