Jackman - Dotsume Cardigan - 77 Sumikuro.

Dotsume has been good to us over the past 2 years because it's so versatile. From tees to sweatshirts, its knotted weaving is sturdy enough to work for so many different silhouttes. This was the first time we'd seen the cardigan in person, and it suited the fabric perfectly. It's just heavy enough to let you know it's there but by no means a wool-weight cardigan. They've given it that modern touch with black coated snaps vs. the traditional button cardigan. We love a good layering piece, and this is exactly that.

This cardigan is made from 20/7 cotton from the United States using a loop knitting machine and knitted to the maximum density over time. By knitting slowly with a loop knitting machine, the stitches are evenly distributed and will not shrink or warp even after repeated wear and washing. The design has a relaxed design with a strong drop shoulder and is sewn by skilled craftsmen using accumulated techniques to create a floating collar and silhouette when worn with the front open. This cardigan gives off an elegant look when you put your hand in your pocket.

Jackman - Waffle Mid-Neck - 284 Dark Turquoise.

For the same reason we fell in love with the watch caps, we fell in love with these mid-necks. They're made from the same waffle cotton. We've seen a lot of waffles in 8 years of James Dant, but nothing quite like this. This cotton has a fluffy, cushy, incredible natural stretch to it. You just don't see waffles like this without being packed with synthetics. We think this is what makes Jackman waffle so sought after. This is the shirt everyone knows from them! And some people own it in just about every color!

Warehouse & Co. - DENIME Four Needle V-Gusset Crew Neck Sweatshirt - Red.

This is the introduction of Warehouse's new line "DENIME." As the phrase "serge de nime" comes from the word for cloth in the Nimes region of France, "DENIME" wants to seek materials that meet the needs of denim not only in the United States but from all over the world. To pair with that incredibly nostalgic, incredibly classic line of denim...they've also introduced a line of cut and sew that should couple up with the jeans incredibly well. Lucky for us, the sweats got here first to really wet the pallet. And they're incredible. These sweatshirts were developed to represent a time frame when casual fashion and athletic gear became daily wear. The fabric is woven using a hanging knitting machine with uneven, slubby yarn born of American cotton. The fabric, which is finished with a brushed back, has a slightly rough surface for texture but is extremely soft to the touch. The sewing is done with 4 needles (hence the name) called flush seamers, and the body and ribs are connected with specifications exclusively to make those seams unnoticeable when wearing. The colors are absolutely stunning, which is what drew us to these sweats from the start. Apparently, they're inspired by the color of Shetland sweaters.

Iron Heart - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Zippered Hoodie - Olive.

We have been waiting for these for soooooo long!! These beauties don't disappoint. The ultra-heavy loopwheel cotton lives up to its name. It's for the guys who love the ultra-heavy flannels and those who want more than just a basic. Tommy wore his for one day and already has pullup in the arm. This is the most solid, yet soft interior we've ever touched. Of all the colors to be put out, we think only the olive lives up to the lore of the black. These two are like peas in a pod. It's also got that iconic universal zipper with the veg tan pull tab. These babies pick up age over the years to become a gorgeous, rich shade of brown. Can't wait to rock ours on these cool spring nights.

Warehouse & Co. - 1930s to mid 1940s PX Crewneck Plain - Navy, Yellow.

John Gluckow is a vintage clothing collector representing America's East Coast. Having spent his early days as a designer with a global fashion brand, John knows what he's doing. He's taken that knowledge and partnered up with one of our favorite brands, Warehouse. This is the start of what appears to be a long-term relationship. They've designed some vintage garments with an eye towards contemporary fashion.

This unit was inspired by a couple of two-tone vintage military prints John owns. We don't really mess with the Militaria prints in America, but the base of the garment was too good to pass up. It's so nice to see a two-tone on a crewneck like this and we think it shines well enough on its own as a plain piece. These are earmarked by their soft outer fleece and flocky inner texture. The combination of all the things John brought to the table makes this crewneck truly special.
Merz b. Schwanen - 11.3oz Short Sleeve Sweatshirt Relaxed Fit - Grey Marl.

Merz has been on our list for quite some time. Can you believe they've been around for 111 years? That's currently our oldest brand! They've stuck around because they do something quite incredible with basics. They stand behind the idea that basics can be something to get excited about. So they create the best and put their iconic branding on just the tags. We're so happy to introduce this German line to our store. In the same way we correlate Japanese production to meticulous attention to detail, we correlate German production to impeccable engineering. We hope you love these super-engineered basics!

If you've followed us over the last ten years, you know that we love a good cut-off crewneck. We've carried them in the past, and we'll carry them in the future. They're an incredible option for guys who typically have very limited options in tops. They wear like a tee shirt but weigh in like a sweatshirt and we really dig that. This one is a 3-thread all organic cotton loopback fleece. It's super comfy and ready to be layered straight away. Like everything Merz makes, these are constructed impeccably.

3Sixteen - Knit T-Shirt - Mauve.

This concept instantly got us jacked up. We're always looking for an alternative to a t-shirt for the spring/summer months. This one reminds us of shirts our pops wore in the '90s (they'd probably had them since the '80s.) These are a super soft and very sturdy due to that 70/30 cotton/linen blend. That linen also keeps them super breathable. This baby was knit by their partner factory in Peru which has a reputation for making some of the softest hand-feel fabrics on the market. Having a Peruvian cotton tee shirt is just insane to us. It's the epitome of incredible manufacturing. We personally love the addition of the v-insert on this baby for a little added accent. This mauve color is gonna be hard to top.
Jackman - GG Sweat Crewneck - 269 Baby Pink.

Jackman continues to impress us with every delivery. This round, we shifted gears into the world of mid-heavyweight sweats. This piece is as good of a sweatshirt as we've ever seen (and we don't say that lightly). The GG stands for grainy because this fabric has such character. They use two different yarn thicknesses in the knitting process in their factory in Fukui. The decorative yarn creates a whole heck of a lot of texture that you'll feel from the get-go. The crew neck features and extra long ribbing to mirror vintage sweaters of old. And, with all the amazing products we've carried over the years...we wouldn't be surprised if you're the most impressed with these. We're super stoked to have some Miami Vice, pastel colors for this season. They can be that pop to your otherwise earthy wardrobe.
This is a crewneck that uses domestic thick yarn and uses GG fleece that has both thickness and softness. The back is not brushed and can be worn for 3 seasons. The milling cutter (rib) also uses two threads to improve durability - a cover stitch over a grounding stitch. The back is also raglan to eliminate the sharpness of the shoulders.

A soft and thick sweat pullover parka made with thick domestic yarn. The solid color emphasizes the feeling of thickness, and the heathered color combines several colors of twisted yarn to create a well-balanced heathered feel. The body width and shoulder width are designed to be loose, and the sloping shoulders eliminate the feeling of tightness when the sleeves are lowered, giving you room from the upper arms to the cuffs. The kangaroo pocket has a gusset and a three-dimensional effect, and the hood has been improved so that it does not fall down. In addition, considering comfort when worn, the main parts are sewn with flat seamers to reduce roughness on the skin.

3Sixteen - Lace Knit Collared Cardigan - Black.

The blend of Pima cotton and Baby Alpaca on this sweater simply blows us away. It's so soft and luxurious, yet the long staple fibers make it strong with good bounce back for longevity. The big stand-out is the lace knit pattern. It hits us hard with '90s nostalgia vibes and can dress up any button-up combo. We really like the way it makes the Mauve Crosscut from this release pop. You can see little hints of the shirt through that lace pattern. We think it's incredible that 3sixteen is bringing a fabric generally reserved for undergarments or adornment into this gorgeous sweater. It breaks the rules, but it works and we can't get enough of pieces like that.

Warehouse & Co. - Two-Needle Loopwheel Hoodie - Sumikuro.

Warehouse & Co. has very quickly become one of our top-selling import brands for a reason. Their attention to detail and dedication to traditional construction is beyond the pale of comparison. We find ourselves diving into things like why they chose the style of tag or how one seam is built compared to another. That is the joy of this brand for us. Seeing conscious decision-making in the flesh from one of the best brands to do it in Japan since 1995.

The Lot 450 sweatshirt is an OG version of your best hoodie, but now this can replace it. A surged, double-needle top stitch runs throughout the seams. With these being circular knit loopwheel sweats, you won't find any seams along the side or in most places with ribbing. But, in the places, they're needed they chose the best seam for longevity. There's ribbing throughout this piece including inside the hood. The brushed inside is something you'll notice right away on these low-tension wovens. It is done by one of the very few machines left in the world giving it a feeling unlike anything we've seen before.

Iron Heart - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Crew Neck Sweat - Olive.

We fell in love with Iron Heart's Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel wovens last year...a love affair that continues into the crew neck. It's a killer new iteration on the Ultra Heavyweight series that we think a lot of you have been waiting for. It's built with a little bit more length in the body which will likely pay off after the first wash and dry. We have found their slightly lighter counterpart to be one of the most versatile pieces in the lineup, and we see this being no different. The only changeup is that you can wear this as a final layer piece on those 40 degree and up days. We have a very good feeling about these babies.

Jackman - Pima Highneck Sweater - 07 Black.

We've been on the hunt for a good turtle neck for years, and my goodness did we find it. When we tried this on, we forgot it was pima. We knew something was different about the fabric but didn't check the contents until this very moment when we started writing the copy. That's what we find when we're dealing with a fabric that is high in quality - you feel the difference right away. We've seen pima come down the line in many forms, but nothing this thick with the ability to have a stand-neck collar. It's our favorite cotton for a reason. It's luxurious and so soft to the skin. We think these are an incredible addition to any wardrobe needing a shake-up and a staple at the same time.

A knit-like high-neck shirt made from high-quality Spanish Pima cotton. Although the fabric is tightly packed, it is thinner than a sweatshirt and features the smoothness and softness of the thread, making it comfortable to wear. It is easy to match with various styles of outerwear and can be used as an inner layer in autumn and winter. The cotton material makes it difficult for static electricity to occur and can be washed at home.

Warehouse & Co. - Plain Crewneck Sweatshirt - Black.

This round of sweat comes from Warehouse's newly created Color Flocky series. They basically created these to mimic college sports memorabilia from the past. While those pieces weren't always as great of quality as these crewnecks, they had a quality that after many washes, they would become extremely fluffy and soft on the inside. The prints were also done so poorly that they would peel off and create this gorgeous faded look. These were built to mimic those crews, but we opted for the nonprint this time. According to Warehouse, these are built to fade with a vintage look. We imagine them having a Sumi-ink look after a good amount of wear and tear.

This is nearly twice the gsm of the Foxfibre, yet it doesn't feel like this stiff, unwearable garment a lot of people might expect. It reads more like a 3lb sweater you can only get from wool. But it's soft, and not itchy by any means. The French terry is so heavy that you can see the vertical lines almost like it's a corded wale. It really is a miraculous product unlike any we've seen. They call it the double heavyweight because it's double the weight of most knits you see in the industry listed as "heavyweight." This thing pulls no punches and gets all the details right.

The Pullover Hoodie is a modern athletic fit and features a double-lined drawstring hood, kangaroo pocket, raglan sleeves, ribbed side panels, ribbed cuffs and hem, flat seam construction and is made in Wakayama Japan.
