16oz - Texture Selvedge Black Battle Stripes - High Tapered - 0405-82

The 0405-82 from Momotaro is less roomy in the top block with a nice strong taper. These guys are for all those guys looking for a high taper and a nice tight taper all the way down. It would be hard to go much tighter than these in the 16oz denim and not hate your life. We couldn't help but be enamored by the texture of this denim. A low tension weaving technique helped create this 16oz slubby powerhouse. 

For this run, we went with black battle stripes to make the denim a little more subtle. The fades on the white can be incredible, but damn is it hard to swallow that stark contrast on first approach. The black will sluff off more naturally with the denim, and from what we think, will stand out nicely against a heavily faded pair. Crocking that makes perfect sense.
