We’re thrilled to introduce these wide trousers made from British Drill fabric, a standout for its rich, turmeric-inspired hue that calls back to classic British military uniforms. British Drill is a selvedge twill that gets its vibrant color through a reactive dye process, creating a one-of-a-kind look. The special yarn used here adds a unique texture and dark neps, giving the fabric even more depth and character. Reactive dyes are known for being colorfast, ensuring you'll have a this rich golden color for longer. Known in Japan as Katsuragi weave, Drill fabric is woven in a twill pattern similar to denim, making it both flexible and durable—qualities that made it famous in British Army uniforms.

Since the yarn used is no longer available, this fabric is in limited supply, making each piece even more special. The khaki beige has a subtle olive undertone that shifts with the light, giving it a dynamic, versatile appeal. With a deep rise and a wide, straight leg that’s firm from the thigh to the hem, these trousers offer a modern take on a classic silhouette that’s incredibly easy to wear. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 33 in this Wide Straight Fit. This is his standard waist size in Oni Denim. This fit is for guys who want that fashion cut. If you like it roomy or have bigger legs, the wide trouser fit should work wonders for you. They have a pretty deep rise. Get the waist right, and the rest should fall in line. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs, with a 32-33" waist.
