D4579 - 15oz "Natural Indigo x Kakishibu" Aishibuzome Dyed Selvedge Type II Jacket - OW

Just when we think we've seen the perfect denim Studio D'artisan comes in and flips everything upside down. They've taken two incredible concepts and mashed them together. The Aizome, or naturally dyed denim, is that gorgeous blueberry you see on top combined with the brown persimmon base on the backside known as Kakishibu. It's a marriage we didn't know we needed, but fell instantly in love with. The blue seems to just float on top of the twill like a natural indigo cloud. And, the brown acts a dirty base for the fading to bounce off of. We believe they've done a kakishibu pigment dye, as evidenced by the color on the selvedge ticker. This makes the indigo look much darker up front, but we fully expect that blueberry color of natural indigo to start popping in short order. These are packed full of all the details and Japanese construction you're used to!

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are known for fitting small. While that is normally true for Studio, their type IIs have a boxy fit, so keep that in mind. While the build is short in the length, as it should be, the body gives you plenty of room. Tommy is wearing a size 42 in this piece for a clearly oversized fit. It is also very stiff upfront, meaning it would fit and drape more nicely with break-in. His natural size would probably be closer to a 40. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
