IHSH-402-NVY - 12oz Ultra Heavy Flannel Chalk Stripe Work Shirt - Navy

What a perfect compliment to the traditional wabash stripe this shirt is. We were fully expecting another stiff, heavy-ounce shirt when placed orders for this piece, but it's totally the opposite. It's very hardy at 12oz, but it feels so damn soft and will require absolutely no break-in just like all the other Ultra Heavy series shirts. It's got that wonderful fluff underneath that we can't get enough of (affectionately referred to as chick fluff). And the chalk stripe is the perfect name for this dashed line. It really does look chalky on the Ultra-Heavy Flannel material. We have to say, our favorite detail is that yellow bobbin thread runoff. We thought this style best suited to Work Shirt, so we opted to take on just this silhouette this year. Iron Heart has decided to scale back the ultra heavy lineup this year, only developing the most incredible fabrics. So, these will not last as long as previous season's iterations.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Tommy decided to go with an XL in this piece and it was totally the right call. Large is his typical, true size from Iron Heart which is why we always recommend sizing up once from what you normally wear from other brands. He chose XL for this fit because he wanted to flannel to feel more like a jacket, or final layer piece. It also suits the roomier pants he's wearing. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
