Merz has been on our list for quite some time. Can you believe they've been around for 111 years? That's currently our oldest brand! They've stuck around because they do something quite incredible with basics. They stand behind the idea that basics can be something to get excited about. So they create the best and put their iconic branding on just the tags. We're so happy to introduce this German line to our store. In the same way we correlate Japanese production to meticulous attention to detail, we correlate German production to impeccable engineering. We hope you love these super-engineered basics!

We loved the sweatpants, so we figured "screw it." Why not have that same comfort with a little bit more breathability for the Summer? We have to admit the color sold us, but we really fell in love with the fit of the shorts when they arrived. Usually, sweatshorts do not look this good! Make them with all the quality in construction you can expect from Merz and they become an instant must-have item for this Summer.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a large this round. In the sweatpants, the large has always felt like the right size for the waist and leg opening. These fit fairly true to size, but we would recommend sizing up once. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs, with a 32-33" waist, and typically wears a North American drawstring pant M, and a Japanese L.
