S5000BKII - 17oz "Zero-Black II" Slubby Selvedge Denim - Straight Fit

The love for black denim in the last 18 months has skyrocketed. I think some incredible faded pictures of heavyweight black denim have been making their rounds on the internet and have excited a whole new fervor for colors like this. The "Zero" Selvedge, aka Bushido, is Samurai's number one seller, and for good reason. It's packed with texture and character that surpasses almost all other denim they create. They're also known for how they fade by denim heads all over the world. Well, we weren't going to pass up a black version of them. This denim is rope-dyed in black sulphide meaning it will fade just like indigo revealing a natural core. These babies are filled with custom branding including the rivets which feature a Bhuddist symbol for the impermanence of worldly things. They also have that silver lamé selvedge which represents the Samurai sword.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy popped on a 33 in these. He's finding this is his standard fit in most denim these days, as it leaves him a little margin and a roomy leg opening. These were a comfy fit overall with that mid rise. They have plenty of room in the thigh and leg due to the straight cut. Tommy is 5'10,' 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
