SJST24-103L - "Abicus" Heavyweight T-Shirt - Black

$ 110.00

When we originally got wind that we were going to be a new stockist for Samurai, our first thought wasn't t-shirts (it was raw denim). But when we saw these prints, we simply couldn't resist. These prints are packed with color and detail simply unrivaled by any other brand we work with. And we knew with it being Samurai construction, they would be worth every penny. They're a tubular knit made on the "Daimaru" machine with a 3-needle wrapped, ribbed collar and have some beautiful custom tag work. This version features an "Abicus" print packed full of amazing, complimentary colors meant to really blow your hair back when you study the design.

This is a design depicting Toshie Maeda, who is also featured on one of their jean models. He used a 6.3 meter (over 20 foot) spear and this picture has him charging through the battlefield while handling this massive weapon. The 1,000,000 koku indicates the amount of rice produced in the land under his control and is an indicator of how powerful a military commander he was during the Edo period. 1,000,000 koku was by far the largest production in all of Japan. Lesser "daimyo" perhaps produced between 10,000 and 100,000 koku from their lands.

Fit Notes: In general, Samurai tops fit a bit small. Luckily, they now produce an oversized version of the garment indicated by the "L" after the product sku. These tend to fit more true because of that. Tommy went with an XL in order to really get an oversized look to go with his pants. He is 5'10,' 165lbs with a 40" chest. His North American size is M and his Japanese size is L.
