SSA24-02 - "Ukiyo-e" Hawaiian Shirt - Red

During the Edo period, the Ukiyo-e art style captivated the masses, becoming immensely popular among commoners. Had Western-style clothing been introduced to Japan at that time, Ukiyo-e shirts would have undoubtedly existed. The swallow, a bird deeply ingrained in Japanese art and legend for over 1,300 years, often appeared alongside peony flowers on Edo-period kimonos. This tradition is beautifully echoed in this shirt, crafted from 100% cotton for worry-free washing. It's a stunning work of art that would be a welcome addition to any wardrobe.

Fit Notes: In general, Samurai tops fit a bit small. Tommy is wearing a size large int he images. Luckily, they make these Aloha shirts a little oversized, so a 22" chest was an easy fit. We would recommend sticking with your true size on this once you have a gander at those size charts. Tommy is 5'10,' 165lbs with a 40" chest. His North American size is M and his Japanese size is L.
