We first carried one of Studios Satin Sukajan jackets last year, and we've been obsessed ever since. These are very much a souvenir jacket in reference and in that, there's a brand new one every year. They're unique like every Souvenir Jacket was. They pop up, they disappear, and people are left waiting for the next one. D'Artisans reversible Sukajan is a work of extraordinarily individual and intricate embroideries on both sides of the jacket. This year, we get two extremely wearable colors - black for when you're feeling stealthy and navy for when you want to stand out. The central theme is "Naniwa" or the ancient name for Osaka. There's also a recurring dragon theme throughout. The navy side feels a lot like a festival atmosphere with their pig mascots riding creatures, featuring an orange dragon, and the moniker "Far East Denim." The black side is a traditional temple vibe with the mascots dressed in traditional headwear and costumes. This is really a bang for your buck souvenir jacket and done to Studio D'Artisan's strict standards.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a smaller fit than American brands. In this piece, Tommy is wearing a size 42 in pictures. In terms of length, this is the better fit. But for the intended fit of a souvenir jacket, the size 40 was a bit better. The raglan-style sleeve allows for a bit more wiggle room. With a tucked-in tee and higher-waisted denim, you could probably wear your true size. For comfort's sake, you may want to size up once. That's what we choose to do. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
