The entire "Kurozome" series was a yes for us. Any garment this black and dyed with a natural process is a yes for us. It is nearly impossible to go this dark with anythign but synthetics, but Kyoto Montsuki has found a way to do it with Binroji or Betel nuts. The only way they can accomplish this is by applying layer upon layer of a base dye before the final step which turns it into the deepest hue possible. We've had this shirt in many differnt colors now, but we don't think any of them have been as wide-reaching as this "Kurozome." The white snaps really set it over the top for us. This series is refined. It's a wonderful sleek alternative to the otherwise earthy and organic feeling of the lineup - all while still being natural.

A variance of +/-.5" is within tolerance. 

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a small fit. Tommy is wearing a 42 in the pictures and it fits pretty well. If he were going for a trimmer fit, he could probably size down to the 40 since it has a 43" chest. But overall, he likes the fit of the 42. Tommy is 5'10," 180lbs with a 40" chest.
