The entire "Kurozome" series was a yes for us. Any garment this black and dyed with a natural process is a yes for us. It is nearly impossible to go this dark with anything but synthetics, but Kyoto Montsuki has found a way to do it with Binroji or Betel nuts. The only way they can accomplish this is by applying layer upon layer of a base dye before the final step which turns it into the deepest hue possible. We've had the G3 fabric (Studios original Toyoda loom fabric, in a few styles now, but it has simply never looked this sleek. It is going to age with a *chef's kiss* level of perfection. The g3 has a gorgeous slubby texture that will show itself in all its glory as the color begins to fade. This series is refined. It's a wonderful sleek alternative to the otherwise earthy and organic feeling of the lineup - all while still being natural.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 42 in these. He's always had to size up at least once from Studio D'artisan, except for on rare occasions. This fits perfectly in the size which compares to an American Large, while still sitting nicely at the waist. Tommy is 5'10," 180lbs with a 40" chest.
