Momotaro - 15.7oz - Indigo x Mint Selvedge Denim - Tight Taper
To say we've been waiting for this color weft for some time is an understatement. We've only seen a "mint-like" color in practice over half a decade ago. When we saw these in the line sheets, we knew it was something special that we couldn't let slip by. The mint combo is rich and satisfying with a hint of vibrance - all without being too vibrant. It pairs distinctly well with the pink details Momotaro is known for. Our thinking is that they produced this version without the GTB stripes so as to not take away from how absolutely stunning the weft is. We felt the same when considering the opportunity. For us, this pair acts as the sprinkles on the cake once you've built your denim collection. This is a special pair that people talk about for years, many wishing they had collected it when given the chance. They've stuck with their not-so-standard, standard 15.7oz base yarn for this set. It's the one everyone knows Momo for and suits this weft yarn perfectly. This weight is considered just hardy enough, but not so hardy they take ages to break in. We are over here drooling at the fading capabilities of this special edition denim.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 in these. He used to squeeze into the size 32, but much prefers the fit and feel of a 33. The Tight Taper is built to be snug. It has a medium to low rise, slim thigh, and a dramatic taper to the ankle. This is a fit for the guy looking for a more tailored, refined look. We would recommend that anyone looking for a bit more room size up once to twice in these. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with between a 33-34" waist.
