246-OLOL - 12oz "Tate Yoko" Yarn Dyed Olive Trouser - Neat Straight

Mannnn, are we really getting into the specialty fabrics from ONI this year or what? We couldn't think of a better time to have joined the fray. Oish-san just keeps bringing the heat with this incredible brand. This round we have an olive version of the lightweight 12oz selvedge denim, created using two different shades of green dye. You'll see the darker on the warp (tate) and lighter on the weft (yoko). The cotton, sourced from the U.S. and Peru, is woven with a low-tension technique that gives the fabric its signature slubbiness and texture. You'll see that the texture almost runs in lines creating a wavy effect. These are then unsanforzied jeans are hit with a one-wash tempi process to soften the denim and prevent shrinkage. These have all the other Oni details you love from the standard 5-pocket model. This one is all about that fabric. We rarely see non-denim non-indigo from this brand, so those rarities seem to move even quicker than we can prep for.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 33 in this Neat Straight Fit. This is his standard waist size in Oni Denim. This fit is for guys who want something a little more tailored. It can be sized up to get more room in the leg, but be prepared to wear a belt. These have room in the top block with plenty of taper from the knee to hem. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs, with a 32-33" waist.
