RJ1 Riders Jacket - Rust Waxed Canvas

This jacket is the Freenote Cloth end-all-be-all. It's the jacket they cut their teeth on. It's the one that built the brand. And it's plain to see why. The riveted pleating on the chest stands out among the crowd. We've been wearing these jackets since our partnership started many years ago, and every time they release a new color...we want it. The ability of this waxed fabric to get better and better with each wear is incredible. The pullup in the arms and highs and lows will remind you of denim. But this is anything but. You want warmth? You want weather resistance? This right here is that jacket. The flannel blanket liner will keep you warm through the winter months and make for a perfect riding companion. And they're apparently impossible to keep in stock. They've sold out nearly everywhere!

Fit Notes: We have always found these jackets to be an Americana cut, but also to fit true to size. Most people want to have room to breathe in them and it gets a little snug when you size down - especially in the waxed fabric. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a medium in this jacket. On a good day, Tommy is 5'10" and 170lbs with a 40" chest.
