We always look forward to any denim that's outside the standard indigo realm. We've been waiting for a brown/khaki-colored selvedge from Naked & Famous for years. It seems to show its face and then disappear for a long time before they run one again. This time they've given us all the classic details including a red selvedge id. This denim is made with a brown nep short slub recycled cotton yarn giving the fabric a gritty and slightly uneven surface texture with brown specks throughout. These are nice and lightweight for all those guys not feeling the 15oz and above denim that's been dropping lately. They're also left hand-twill which contributes to that softness. They're comfortable nearly right away with very little break-in time. You can have your cake and eat it too with this pair that works both for office and home life.

For the past few years, we don't think we've heard more whispers about the return of a product than the rainbow core. They are legend amongst the raw denim faders of the world, and every once in a while...a fully broken in pair pops up and the whole internet loses its collective mind. There's something so special about a fabric that doesn't show its true character until you've put in the work. Well, no pair is more revealing with ample time and wear than the core series. And, no pair is more sought after than the rainbow core.

This round, they've gone for even more color. This "New Rainbow Core" has the full ROYGBIV color spectrum. The secret to this denim is the dye method. Traditionally their indigo denim is rope dyed with white or natural cotton yarn. For this denim they've used a process called "reactive dyeing" to ensure that the core of the denim stays permanently saturated with the colors of the rainbow. They're then coated with Indigo which makes the rainbow disappear until you put in the work to draw it back out. As the indigo crocks and fades in all the high-use, heavy-abrasion areas...there's your pop of rainbow.
