Returns

We want you to love it before you press the "complete purchase" button, and do everything we can to ensure you get it right the first time. Due to the select nature of our product and razor-fine margins in our industry, our return policy is as follows:

Any item that doesn't fall into the category of "Final Sale" can be exchanged for anything else in the store within 14 DAYS of the ARRIVAL DATE of your package, in unworn & unwashed condition. A merchandise credit (valid for 5 years from the issue date) will be given when an exchange isn't applicable. We DO NOT offer refunds.

** All discounted (items using discount code) + promotional Sale Items (from the sales section) are FINAL SALE & ineligible for exchange or in-store credit. No exceptions. **

* All apothecary & grooming + vintage & gently used items are FINAL SALE & ineligible for exchange or in-store credit. No exceptions. *

* All International Shipments are FINAL SALE & ineligible for exchange or in-store credit. No exceptions.*

Refunds

*We do NOT offer refunds and do not make exceptions.*

Measurement Charts/Fit Notes

Measurement charts are meant to be a guide. They are there to help you land in the right neighborhood for "fit." Our charts are taken from multiple sources. Sometimes, they're taken in-house. Sometimes, they're manufacturer spec.

Ultimately, a size guide is not going to get you a "perfect fit" because there will always be variance from size to size. Also, the way we measure can vary greatly from how the end consumer measures.

Personal interpretations of our size charts DO NOT necessitate an exception to our aforementioned policies. 

Price Honoring

We neither price match other sites nor can we retroactively apply discounts. The rarity of our inventory ensures that if you were lucky enough to have purchased an item/size at full price, that item most likely would have been purchased by someone else before the sale occurred. 

How To Exchange/Return

If you need to return any item, please quickly send us an email at info@jamesdant.com. Once contact has been initiated, you can return your item to the address listed below. 

Remember, you have 14 days to send us confirmation that your package has been shipped. Once we receive that confirmation, we can put an item on hold for which you wish to exchange.

All items must land at our physical location within 17 days* from the date they arrive to you. For this reason, we recommend you use a trackable shipping method, even for exchanges. 

*17 days is NOT business days, so take this into account when choosing your return method.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The exchange process timeline will vary depending on your distance from our store. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service. For items over $350, you may consider purchasing shipping insurance. Due to myriad reasons, we can't guarantee that the item will make it back to us - this is why we recommend choosing the safest, not the most affordable method of return. 

International Shipments

Customs, duties, and brokerage fees are to be paid by the customer. 

Limited Product

Limited edition product is subject to their own set of rules. Please find this in the product description. (Normal exchange policy applies unless otherwise listed)

Cancellation Requests:

Once an order is processed, it cannot be canceled under any circumstances. The process of fulfillment begins the moment the order is placed. Due to this and the credit card fees charged to the business, items must be received and returned for store credit if you no longer want your order. We will not field any calls or emails related to cancelling an order. 

Lost/Stolen Packages:

If the final status of your tracking number is "Undelivered" and the shipping carrier is unable to locate your package after their investigation, we will replace the item (if in stock). We will also request that you answer 3 short questions for our insurance company to recoup some of the lost income. There may be up to 30 days in processing time for the investigation. Please reach out to us as soon as you see that something is wrong with your tracking.

However, if the status of your tracking number is “Delivered” and you physically did not receive the package (ie. it gets stolen off your front door), we are not liable and we will NOT replace or refund the item(s) under any circumstance. We are happy to require a Signature for your package at your request, please specify this in the Notes section at checkout and we will email you a quote for this additional service (all packages above $400 will have signature tracking applied).
