Pleased is an understatement when it comes to the fact that we're working with orSlow. They've been on our brand "bucket list" for a while, so when we had a chance to see the line live in New York a few years back...we knew it was only a matter of time. The brand is everything we love - vintage-inspired designs with a modern branding approach and quality at the forefront of their ethos. It's all in the name, as they're the antidote to modern fast fashion...they do things slowly!

This one is quite a bit of a legend. Everyone either has a pair of these or wants them. They're that same horizontally textured reverse sateen as the shirt, just in pant form. The hand feel on the slubbiness you see in those up-close shots is like butter. They call them heavyweight, but they're so comfortable on the skin. You'll see little details all over that harken back to the US Army pair these are mirrored from. We're talking side-tab waist adjustments, front patch pockets, and button closures galore. We see these pants being a staple for us long-term...that is if we can keep stock.

The Comfort Monster is our second collaboration with Naked & Famous. We have been biting our nails in anticipation of this comfy boy. When we were initially sent the fabric swatch, we knew we had something special - a raw denim with rope-dyed indigo that feels like a pair of sweatpants? It's rather uncanny. The amazing part is, they look just like your favorite pair of raw denim, with an even better fit. It really didn't take all that much processing to get this pair the way it is. You would think with something that feels like sweatpants you would be looking at a ton of stretch or mega-washing to achieve softness. But, Naked & Famous has stumbled upon technology that allows their incredible 2% power stretch, with incredible bounce back, to feel even softer. The inside, or warp side of the denim, is brushed like your favorite ultra heavy flannel. We're talking chick fluff softness here! And, they'll still fade beautifully.

We can admit that at one point in our denim adventures, we wouldn't have considered brushed, 2% stretch selvedge to be in our wheelhouse. Howeveer, the past 19 months has changed us. While our closet is still full of starchy, stiff, unwashed pairs of denim...there's always room for comfort. Whether this be the pair you put on to walk the dogs or your daily driver - The Comfort Monster will inevitably wind up holding a special place in your closet. There's a ton of custom details, so scope them all in the bullets.

RGT - Washed Out ISC Work Shirt - Indigo. The ISC Work Shirt has been a 3-year love affair for us, but when we saw it in this light, it was cranked up to another level. The beauty of a fabric created to fade is that when you wash it just right, it looks incredible like this. The Supply Jacket in River Wash was our first introduction to the life a wash can bring a garment. This is our second, and probably won't be our last. You'll notice all the usual suspects with this piece but with aging it might otherwise take years to accomplish. Notice the roping on the hem and the grid-like pattern throughout. Scope how the custom indigo-dyed ticker is faded like the rest. Pay close attention to the foldover technique they used to ensure a nice contrast on the cuff. This one is one for the ages.
