A Vest To Kick Your Ass All Summer Long

A Vest To Kick Your Ass All Summer Long

Every once in a while, I see a product so notable that I lose my good business sense. Stocking these vests from Mercy Supply Co. was a selfish choice - one of those moments where I don't give a damn if it's going to sell well. I don't care if we hold on to these vests for years before we find them the perfect owner. It's worth it to me.

This is the kind of vest you ride hard and put away wet. It looks better every time you wear it, so long as you're willing to kick it's ass. This vest isn't going to baby you - the boys from Mercy Supply Co. aren't faking it. It's made from a heavy duty wax - 25oz. - and just like our favorite heavy denims or a pair of Red Wings, they take a lot of effort. But once they're broken in, it's oh so sweet.

Shwood has also really outdone themselves this year. The most extraordinary part of my job is getting to watch brands evolve. The guys at Shwood always keep a pair of their first glasses they ever made with them - they're cracked, glued, chunky and they're a beautiful representation of just how far they've come. This year they started infusing aluminum in their wooden glasses and came out with some of the most incredible acetate frames. This pair is the one. The pair I've always been looking for but never knew I needed until I put them on. I can't wait to see how Shwood continues to evolve.
