The Dirty Fade from N&F is a no frills, straight up pair of mid-weight raw denim - at least at first. When weaving a denim fabric you have two sets of yarns; the warp and the weft. The weft is what you see on the inside of your pants while the warp is the outside. Typically, warp yarns are dyed with indigo and then woven with the weft yarns to create a fabric. In the case of the Dirty Fade the warp yarns start off as a natural, dusty brown shade of cotton which are dyed with indigo while the weft yarns start as a stark white. The result is that over time, as they begin the fade, the fades will be subtle and warm with a light brown undertone, hence the name "Dirty Fade".

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 29 in the pictures. This is his standard Easy Guy size. Normally, he has to size down two from his normal fit as these run really roomy in the waist and thighs with a fantastic taper to the ankle. Tommy is 5'10", 162lbs with a 32-33" waist.
