01-5265-76 - Easy Cargo Pants - Army Green
orSlow - 01-5265-76 - Easy Cargo Pants - Army Green
Pleased is an understatement when it comes to the fact that we're working with orSlow. They've been on our brand "bucket list" for a while, so when we had a chance to see the line live in New York a few years back...we knew it was only a matter of time. The brand is everything we love - vintage-inspired designs with a modern branding approach and quality at the forefront of their ethos. It's all in the name, as they're the antidote to modern fast fashion...they do things slowly!
We must admit, we're converts. The cargo pant was nowhere on our radar until orSlow introduced us to it in all its lovely utility. Their cuts simply seem to fit better than everyone else's. With the introduction of the "easy" waist, that fit process becomes even simpler. With this version, you can focus more on getting the leg silhouette you want and kind of bounce between sizes. It has some classic features like the typewriter crotch. This is a much easier-to-get-right version of the 6-pocket cargo. And if we've learned anything since the last launch, it's that this pant moves quickly. The charcoal disappeared in days. These have a wonderful cut and are a nice addition to any denim head's collection.
- 100% cotton

Fit Notes: Ryan is wearing a size 1 in these pants. He seems to be a 1 across the board from most Orslow. He's normally wearing a 30 or 31 pant from most brands. They always have plenty of room in the leg, so it's more about getting the waist where you want it. We have to note as we've seen a lot of people reaching out that these are drawstring and elastic waist which makes the waist look smaller than it is. Essentially, they can go all the way down to the waist size they show, but you can also expect 3-5" of additional circumference if you need it. The drawstring is so you can synch them back up when they eventually stretch a bit. Shop owner Tommy is normally a tag size 31 or 32 from most brands and wears a size 2. He is 5'10," 170lbs with between a 32-33" waist.

Merz has been on our list for quite some time. Can you believe they've been around for 111 years? That's currently our oldest brand! They've stuck around because they do something quite incredible with basics. They stand behind the idea that basics can be something to get excited about. So they create the best and put their iconic branding on just the tags. We're so happy to introduce this German line to our store. In the same way we correlate Japanese production to meticulous attention to detail, we correlate German production to impeccable engineering. We hope you love these super-engineered basics!
Vintage times two! While fabric made on our original loopwheelers in Germany itself has a unique vintage feel, Merz takes it even a step further! How? These authentically made pieces have undergone a special pigment dying process: thanks to this particular treatment, these pieces receive an exceptional vintage optic.
These easy-going sweatpants bring back the vibe from back then. The vintage optic, along with the elastic band on the leg, may remind you of your favorite sweatpants you've already owned almost your whole life — but new and even better.

If you've followed us over the last ten years, you know that we love a good cut-off crewneck. We've carried them in the past, and we'll carry them in the future. They're an incredible option for guys who typically have very limited options in tops. They wear like a tee shirt but weigh in like a sweatshirt and we really dig that. This one is a 3-thread all organic cotton loopback fleece. It's super comfy and ready to be layered straight away. Like everything Merz makes, these are constructed impeccably.

This heavy loopwheeled tee is the epitome of an easy-going look thanks to its relaxed fit, the fabric’s slight slub structure, and the detailed neckline, which is an eye-catcher in its own right. This piece is special in many ways: the loopwheeled fabric is unique from the ground up, and the slight slub structure adds an even more casual look to it. And while this T-shirt is a serious matter with a weight of 13.4 oz. / 380 grams, it still feels soft, good, and comfortable in every moment! We compare it to the heaviest tee we've ever carried, but as if it's been power-washed to make it easy to wear.
